BPOC Bell Point of Contact This FID is used to indicate the name and telephone number of the U S WEST employee handling an account.

BPR Beeper Paging Notification Used on Wireless Service to indicate the TN assoc with the pager. BRA Base Rate Area Indicates that the service is either inside or outside of the base rate area.

BRG Bridged Telephone Number Indicates that a bridged condition exists on a party line circuit or on the circuit with which the assignable USOC is associated.

BUD Budget Payment Plan Identifies that a specific USOC is being billed under budget payment plan. Was intended for use in the TeleChoice product but was not implemented.

BYM Busy Monitor Indicates whether or not the ISDN directory number appears on the attendant console station busy field. C Cut Off The external key or button on a key telephone used for cutoff. CA Cable Number A specific feeder, distribution, tie or trunk cable number contained in an inside/outside plant facility.

CAA Circuit Administration Area Indicates the designation of the administrative entity (Circuit Provisioning Center and/or Engineering Report Office) responsible for entering service order data into a trunk facility system (TIRKS).

Internet Service Provider - Enhanced Services and Billing Arrangement

The customer's Internet service provider with whom the local service provider has special enhanced services and/or billing arrangement.

KIR Correction Issuance Reason Used on Special Services order to indicate reason, work group and missed code for every supplemental correction pass of the order.

KN Key Number The digits are stamped on both the key and lock by manufacturer. Regular key and lock equal 6 characters. Pick Proof key and lock equal 8 characters.

KS Key System Number The number assigned to each key system within an account.

KSH Keyset Short Hunt Indicates that keyset short hunt option is assigned to directory number appearances on a set on a DMS-100 switch.

L Lamp Indicates the lines or station connected to lamps. It is a feature code that is used with station detail. Used with lamp arrangements such as beehive lamps or twelve button lamp modules.

LATN Letter of Authorization Tracking Number A unique number used to identify each customer who has a letter of authorization.

LCC Line Class Code Identifies the originating and terminating restrictions, or combinations of restrictions for a line in a stored program controlled switch.

LCL Logical Channel Layout The maximum number of channels and the allocation of the channels assoc. with an X.25 and X.75 access line in a public packet switched network service or ISDN packet service or ISDN packet service.

LCON Local Contact Indicates the name and TN of the person at a customer's circuit location (CKL) who is responsible for making the necessary arrangements for installation and to answer questions regarding the service.

LD Line Designation Number Used to format records for multiple line systems.

LDI Line Designation Identifier Indicates an association with the FID TLI to indicate the relationship between the FID LD and the assigned telephone number when that telephone number is a component of the line identifier.

LDN Local Directory Name Name of directory or directory section which listing will appear.

LEFD Local Exchange Freeze on Data Services A freeze on data service changes applies to co-providers other than the authorized co-provider.

LOB Line Of Business Code C0-ACD Feature which enables a supervisor to manage an ACD environment with more than one line of business. The supervisor is able to review a record of each incoming call's category and holding time
