DESCRIPTION

Fiberglass Pultrusion Profile and FRP Pultruded Profile are made from glass reinforced isophthalic polyester resin reinforced with E glass fibre and including continuous strand mat and a polyester surface veil as the surface layer. The manufacturing of pultruded profiles is the most efficient method of forming composite materials with consistent high quality and low scrap. This combination gives excellent corrosion resistance and weatherability at an economic cost. Pultruded composite profiles are increasing being used in a variety of applications. With the high strength, low weight, non-corrosive features, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) pultrusions are rapidly growing in demand.

2. Pultrusion ProcessUnlike other materials, pultrusion is a very unique manufacturing process wherein we can actually design and make FRP materials with specified strengih, modulus, and other physical properties according to service requirements. Pultrusion continuously produces fiberglass reinforced plastics with constant cross section by pulling fiberglass roving and mats, saturated with resin mixture, through a heated forming die, by a mechanical pulling device. As the mixture of fiber with resin is pulled through the die, the resin initiates a chemical reaction by heat and a rigid cured profile is formed that corresponds to the shape of the die.

2.2 The Raw Materials

For services in different extreme environments, We provides a number of choices for rovings, mats, resin and others to meet customer demands. Standard colors are green, glary and yellow. However, customer specified colors are welcome. Both orthophthalic and isophthalic polyester resin are most commonly used, whilst vinyl ester resins are also availasle upon request. We also provides alternative options for various mats, veils, as well as other additives for different application.

3. MPPS Series of Pultrusion Profiles

Standard MPPS series of fiberglass profiles include I-Shape, channels, angles, square and round tubes, rod, sheets and others. Popular applications such as gratings, platform, walkways, handrails and ladders are also available.
