• Fiber-optic cabling of the broadcast van

consists of connector systems sensitive to

dust and difficult to clean. This resulted in:

losses of transmission

- More difficult locking of the connectors

- High attenuation levels

• Reliable, mobile cabling systems which are

fast and easy to install, for robust applications

(tread-, dirt- and vibration-insensitivity)

Solution and procedure:

• Individualized assembly process of the Eurolens lens connector

system (IP 67), whose Expanded Beam Technology tolerates

dirt and vibrations

• Upgrading of existing cabling systems:

- Adaptation of the openings of the Eurolens lens connectors

for optimum assembly of the unknown cable material

- Modification of the plug configuration according to

the requirements of the broadcast van

• Production of new cabling solutions:

- Cable: For outside and inside use with PUR sheath,

high resistance to UV radiation and dirt
