FGL International celebrates 10 years of activity de-

voted to develop innovative technical products and

solutions for its clients in more than 32 countries

worldwide. On 07/06 hole team took part to a special

celebration event at Antinori Winery in Florence.

In this occasion we remembered the ten past years of

intense work of every single member of our staff and

we proudly confi rmed our intention of achieving even

more ambitious goals in the future, in order to give the

best service with high quality products to all our clients

worldwide, whose satisfaction is always our main target.

Fabbriche Aperte.Schools go into the companies of the Lapi Group. On May 13 and 14 the four companies of the Lapi

Group dealing in the chemicals field – FGL inter-

national, Figli di Guido Lapi, Toscolapi and Fini-

kem – attended again to the event called Fabbriche

Aperte (Open Factories) dedicated to the students

of the Technical Institute Cattaneo of San Miniato,

chemical orientation. Fabbriche Aperte is an initia-

tive promoted by Federchimica already joined by

the above mentioned companies in 2011, when it

was celebrated the International Year of Chemistry.

Students and teachers were guided into the differ-

ent departments of the hosting companies by the

qualified staff, who illustrated to the students the

most important characteristics of what they were

seeing. They had the opportunity to visit the R&D

laboratory, the experimental tannery, the produc-

tion department and the warehouse of the four

companies and to see directly the world of work.

The experience was really constructive and appre-

ciated both by the students, who were very interest-

ed and made a lot of questions, and by the teachers,

who think that such experiences are very helpful

for the formation and growth of the young people.

But also the authorities appreciated it, the Mayor

Gabriele Toti and the School Councilor, Ida Vanni,

of Castelfranco di Sotto attended the event and

spent compliments with the Lapi Group managers

for organizing that happening.

This year Fabbriche Aperte is only one of the ini-

tiatives proposed by the Companies of Lapi Group.

Included in the “Progetto Giovani”, that is a project

dedicated to young people, other two initiatives

have been planned: the first named “Rispetto a ……

chi?” realized together with the Lions Club of San

Miniato and the AUSL 11 of Empoli, which involved

two secondary schools of the area (9 classrooms,

about 220 boys and girls) and it will be proposed

again next year to other schools. Through activi-

ties with both recreational and educational aspects

conducted by Nature-Rock it was intended to

teach the importance of respect, particularly in the

group. The second initiative was related to sport: it

was organized a football tournament together with

the sport association C.C. Romaiano Srl, the “Lapi

Group Tournament” dedicated to the professional

“Giovanissimi B”, born in 2001, which took place

in their football field on May 31, June 1 and 2, 2014.

During the tournament an “ethic code” was given

to the sport teams, particularly realized for the fair

conduct in the sport.

With that Project dedicated to social themes the

companies of the Lapi Group aimed to give a con-

tribution to the growth of the young people invest-

ing on their education, convinced that the young

people of today with the right edification will be

better men of tomorrow.
