Join us for another great Jazz Party!The 33rd Newcastle Jazz Festival will provide a rich variety of music, from Traditional Jazz, Mainstream, Swing, Blues, Contemporary, Jazz Orchestras and Big Band. Some of Australia’s and the Hunter’s finest musicians will provide a wide range of styles designed to cater for your every taste.

The Newcastle Jazz Festival has established an enviable reputation among music fans as a regular annual event and as such, attracts people from all over Australia and New Zealand. Best to say ... don’t miss it!

At Newcastle’s Iconic City Hall, King Street Newcastle• Four rooms in the City Hall will give patrons a diverse choice of

music under the one roof. A lift will be available to take patrons between floors.

• Onsite catering available at the City Hall but there are a number of cafes and restaurants within a five-minute walk of the City Hall.

• Trains from Sydney stop at the Newcastle Interchange from where the Light Rail will take you to within 50 metres of the City Hall.

• Patrons staying at City Hotels can catch the Light Rail to the venue.

There are several parking options surrounding Newcastle City Hall. The most convenient being:• Civic West Parking Station, located at Gibson Street and a

5-minute walk to the City Hall. Open 24 hours 7 days a week (02 4926 4990).

• Wharf Road Car Park, located near the Crowne Plaza Hotel with Entry via Centenary or Wharf Roads (1800 727 5464).

• Wright Lane Car Park, located near Newcastle Museum and a 5 minute walk to the City Hall. Open 24 hours 7 days a week, with free parking on weekends (1800 727 5464).

* Newcastle Interchange Car Park- park and catch the Light Rail to the City Hall. Weekdays $7.50 and weekends $5.00.

* Civic Car Park, located behind City Library with entry via Darby St and a 5-minute walk to the City Hall. Open 24 hours 7 days a week.

* On street parking & metered parking surrounding Newcastle City Hall includes King Street, Auckland Street and Hunter Street.

* A courtesy bus will circulate around parking stations (not the interchange Car Park) every 30 minutes.
