FEMA Map Service Center: Find Your Flood Zone and Create a 'FIRMette'(Properties in Belknap County Only)

Step 1: Go Tohttps://msc.fema.gov

Step 2: Enter addressand click Search.

Step 3: The map that appears does NOTshow your flood zone! To view the floodzones for your area, click on theView/Print FIRM button at the top (bluemagnifying glass icon).

Step 4: The flood map panel that showsyour location will appear. You will need touse the zoom and pan controls on the leftto find your location on the map. Then clickon the Make a FIRMette button.

Step 5: Click on the red rectangle that appearsto move it to the area you want included onyour FIRMette. When you're done, click thePDF icon to save as a PDF. Then, on the nextscreen click the Save Your FIRMette button.
