No. E52-01802-A (1806, AKMU) FELCOM15/16/18/19 Due to changes in the available satellites, caused by the end of I-3 satellite life-spans, current coverage regions have been, or will be changed to the new I-4 satellite coverage regions. This document outlays the coverage changes and the stages at which the changes that will occur, or have occurred. The following table shows the migration schedule from I-3 to the I-4 satellites. The migration process for each area will begin during 2018. For the details on the new coverage areas, see the reverse page. Note 1: If the distress alert is transmitted during [UNSYNC] status, the satellite is searched for automatically and the alert is transmitted normally.
