Feed the Need Sunday was a wonderful day in the life of Geyer Springs. What a great testimony it was to our community to see members from Geyer Springs lined up at Walmart to purchase food for those in need. I am so thankful to be a part of a church that is focused not only on learning the Word of God but in living it out in

the Little Rock area and beyond.

Memorial Day weekend is the official beginning of summer. Summer is my favorite time of year! The warm weather and long days are great for picnics, cookouts, lake days, fellowships and fun. As you look through this newsletter, take note of the events listed for your class. If you are not involved in a Sunday school class you are missing out! Sunday school is not only a small group Bible study; it is a strong connection point to the life of our church. Sunday school classes offer encouragement, fellowship and the ability to build community with other people. If you are interested in getting involved in Sunday school I would be happy to help you find a group.

I want to invite the men in our ministry to join me at the Geyer Springs Men’s Conference. The event will be held at Geyer Springs August 10-11, 2012; and, led by nationally known author and speaker, Steve Farrar. Steve is the author of Point Man and many other books that have encouraged men across our country to live for God and to faithfully serve Him. Steve is an excellent communicator and this will be a great conference for our men. For more information contact the Geyer Springs Church Office.
