WAYCROSS, GAWaycross is the county seat of Ware County, GA. The city has two historic districts, Downtown Waycross Historic District and Waycross Historic District. U.S Highway 1 runs north-south through Waycross as well as U.S. Highway 23, Highway 82, and Highway 84. Waycross is home to the Waycross-Ware County Airport and is also the city in which six railroad lines meet.
