• Brooklyn pop-rock quintet, EX COPS, have announced their debut full-length album, 'True Hallucinations', will be released through Fat Possum via Shock on February 22, 2013.• Formed in 2011 by Brian Harding (ex-Hymns) and Amalie Bruun (ex-Minks), the duo self-released a short-run, homespun CD-EP of hazy, lo-fi recordings featuring Harding’s opaque bedroom-pop songwriting juxtaposed with the duo’s sun-kissed harmonies. Two of the tracks, “You Are a Lion, I Am a Lamb” b/w “The Millionaire,” were soon released to the world on vinyl as the premiere release from Fat Possums new imprint label Other Music Recording Company.• The songs on 'True Hallucinations' are effortlessly catchy, built from a timeless blend of gentle, somnambulant harmonies, chiming guitars, and loose swinging rhythms. Yet in spite of this list of infl uences and precursors, EX COPS’ music is very much their own, sounding at once both classic and modern, their sugary pop songs enshrouded in a unique psychedelic haze.

• Seminal street punk legends SWINGIN’ UTTERS keep up the momentum created by their 2011 comeback album with the release of their latest opus 'Poorly Formed'. 'Poorly Formed' is anything but what the name suggests. To the contrary, it refl ects SWINGIN’ UTTERS’ ever expanding musical profi ciency. This album sees them hone their indie/post-punk/garage-rock skills. Part of that is due to the emergence of Jack Dalrymple (of One Man Army fame) as a contributing songwriter for the fi rst time since he offi cially joined the band and started recording with them on their last full-length. Mix that with Johnny and Dar- ius’ well established songwriting prowess, and round it out with their collective pop sensibilities, and what you end up with is a truly unforgettable album. • The band’s resurgence over the past two years has coincided with a rigorous tour schedule. 2013 will be no different with US, European, Japanese & Australian tours already booked.

• STEVEN WILSON is a four time Grammy-nominated producer, writer and performer, best known as founder and front man of British rock band Porcupine Tree. He has also produced and /or mixed albums for artists as diverse as Swedish metal band Opeth, Norwegian chanteuse Anja Garbarek, and progressive rock institution King Crimson. • Highly respected STEVEN WILSON has revealed that his third solo album will be titled The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories). Set for release by Shock Records on March 1, 2013, the much anticipated new album was written between January - July and recorded in Los Angeles, USA in September. • Steven's current band is a collection of stellar musicians: lead guitarist Guthrie Govan, bassist Nick Beggs, Marco Minnemann on the drums, Theo Travis playing saxophone/fl ute, and Adam Holzman on keyboards. • Compromised of some notorious individuals from Sydney and beyond, VIGILANTE have injected the Australian hardcore punk scene with a much needed boost of classic New York hardcore inspired jams with a signifi cant dose of social justice messaging. Reinforced by members who served time in hardcore bands dating back to the mid 90s including Urban Mayhem, Right Idea, The Deadwalk, Last Nerve, Bad Blood and Ill Brigade, Vigilante embody a once infamous Sydney hardcore style. Hard not heavy.• VIGILANTE's stubborn song-writing approach and attention to detail saw them return to record with Australian folk-rock musician Jonathan Boulet for their debut 12" EP 'Quality Of Life'. After sitting on a well received demo for two years, 'Quality Of Life' has further developed their identity and exposed more infl uences, such as their re-recording of Altercation's "Vigilante Song". • In a time where conformity is dominating an arguably contradicting hardcore punk scene, 'Quality Of Life' is full of personality, dynamic riffs and an honest perspective on social justice issues. Songs like "Search For Truth" and "Fear Of Change" showcase VIGILANTE's approach and interpretation of a classic sound of hardcore spawned from the mid 80s. • Continuing Eagle’s series of releases drawn the vaults of the JEFF HEALEY BAND, 'House On Fire' is a collection of studio rarities and demos recorded in the nineties. Eight of the eleven tracks were recorded between March & July 1992 during the sessions for the “Feel This” album. Two tracks, “Adam Raised A Cain” and “We’ve Got Tonight”, were recorded in May/June 1994 and “Daze Of The Night” was recorded in October 1998.
