The 2019 Iowa LakesJazz/Show Choir Festival

January 22-23, 2019

On January 22nd and 23rd, Iowa Lakes Community College hosted more than 400 high school students from 19 area schools at the annual Show/Jazz Choir Festival. Ensembles perform for judges and then are given the opportunity to work with the judges, gaining valuable knowledge that will help them take their music to the next level. The feedback these students and teachers received from judges Clay Blackman and Dr. Kurt Runestad is invaluable to them as they prepare for state contest and other competitions. We are honored to be a part of a great tradition of high quality music ensembles in North-west Iowa!
