Samalkha Group of Institutions again has taken a step ahead to enhance the knowledge of the stu-
dents about Industries. Samalkha Group of Institutions invited Mr. Vikas Gupta, Deputy Director,
MSME (MICRO, SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES) Development Institute and Mr. Trilok
Gupta, Assistant Director, MSME (MICRO, SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES) Development
Institute along with Mr. Mahesh Chand, Lead Bank Officer, Punjab National Bank, Panipat for en-
hancing the knowledge of the students about Micro, Small , Medium industries and Entrepreneurship
and facilities of Banking and loan etc. MSME is running an “Industrial Motivational Campaign” in
which they approach various reputed institutes and motivate the students for Entrepreneurship by
providing seminars which enhances their knowledge about industries and work culture in indus-
tries.MSME - Development Institute, Karnal is a field office of the Development Commissioner
(MSME), Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India, New Delhi, which is an
apex body for formulating, coordinating and monitoring the policies and programmes for promotion
and development of MSMEs in the country.
On this occasion Mr. Vikas Gupta given speacialized talks on the topic of “Prodeedure & Formalities
requiring to become an Enterpreneur”. He said that Entrepreneurship is the act of being
an entrepreneur, which can be defined as "one who undertakes innovations, finance and business acu-
men in an effort to transform innovations into economic goods". This may result in
new organizations or may be part of revitalizing mature organizations in response to a perceived op-
portunity. The most obvious form of entrepreneurship is that of starting new businesses (referred
as Startup Company); however, in recent years, the term has been extended to include social and po-
litical forms of entrepreneurial activity. When entrepreneurship is describing activities within a firm
or large organization it is referred to as intra-preneurship and may include corporate venturing, when large entities spin-off organizations. Mr. Trilok Gupta had given talks on the topic “ Role of Promo-
EDP on “Industrial Motivation Campaign” by MSME, Dev. Institute, Karnal, A
Statutory Body under Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India.

tional Agencies in the Development of MSME sector”, while Mr. Mahesh Chand had explained the
role of Banking sector in the process of starting a venture and facilities of loan etc by the banks. Mr.
Trilok Gupta added to the words of Mr. Vikas Gupta by saying Entrepreneurial activities are substan-
tially different depending on the type of organization and creativity involved. Entrepreneurship ranges
in scale from solo projects (even involving the entrepreneur only part-time) to major undertakings cre-
ating many job opportunities. Many "high value" entrepreneurial ventures seek venture capi-
tal or angel funding (seed money) in order to raise capital to build the business. Angel investors gener-
ally seek annualized returns of 20-30% and more, as well as extensive involvement in the business.
Many kinds of organizations now exist to support would-be entrepreneurs including specialized gov-
ernment agencies, business incubators, science parks, and some NGOs. In more recent times, the term
entrepreneurship has been extended to include elements not related necessarily to business formation
activity such as conceptualizations of entrepreneurship as a specific mindset (see also entrepreneurial
mindset) resulting in entrepreneurial initiatives e.g. in the form of social entrepreneurship, political
entrepreneurship, or knowledge entrepreneurship have emerged.
At the end of the “Industrial Motivation Campaign” at Samalkha Group of Institutions, guests
