Lord Jesus Christ, You are visible face of the invisible Father, Of the God who manifest his power above all by forgiveness and mercy: Let the church be your visible in the world, Its Lord risen and glorified. You willed that your ministers s would also be
clothed in weakness In order that they may feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: Let everyone who approaches them feel sought after, loved, and forgiven by God. We ask this of you, Lord Jesus, through the interces-sion of Mary, Mother of Mercy, you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen

Do you find yourself easily troubled, angry, or sad? What do you do when you are up-set? Do you seek comfort through excessive drinking, social media or eating? Lent is a great time to examine how we deal with the stress of life. St. Augustine said, “My heart does not rest until it rest with God.” In my life, God gives me a peace that only God can give. During Lent, I invite you to attend dai-ly Mass, go to adoration, prayer groups, RCIA and confession. May God bless you with a joyous and peaceful Lent season. Fr. Joseph
