Position Overview:

Position: Provider Solutions Specialist Intern – HCA Healthcare – Palm

Description
The Provider Solutions Specialist is an integral role for HCA IT&S. Using a balanced
combination of customer service, project management, sales, leadership, training, and
technology skills, this role serves as the primary training and support resource for providers in
the healthcare setting.
The role requires working closely with providers, but also involves working with an ecosystem
of healthcare professionals including provider office personnel, Medical Staff Office, Provider
Relations, Clinical Services, facility leaders, and others.
Responsibilities include assisting providers throughout the healthcare continuum from the
introduction to adoption and advancing utilization of HCA technologies. Duties also include
ensuring providers (and personnel) have training and instruction on how to access and
effectively utilize healthcare technologies and responding to, triaging, and delivering seamless
coordination for provider support needs.
Duties Include:
➢ Assists in implementation and support of systems and technologies deployed to
physicians and physician offices.
➢ Active participation in projects that affect physicians
➢ Installs and supports IT&S software per HCA and Division IT&S standards and
guidelines, focusing on products HCA provides to support the physician community.
➢ Recommends process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance, and
support of provider facing equipment and technologies.
➢ Assists in testing physician-related systems for facility-specific requirements.
➢ Works to develop and deploy best practices for physician support.

Position- Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator
With oversight and direction from the Program Director/Administrative Director of Medical
Education (ADME), the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational and financial
management of the residency/fellowship training program and support for the Program
Director and Residents. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of
ACGME or other national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree
of initiative and independent judgment.
The Program Coordinator will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic
issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing
administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees
regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations.
The Program Coordinator is a member of the education design and leadership of the
residency program, therefore, ultimately responsible for the residents within the program.
SUPERVISOR: Hospital or Division Administrative Director of Medical Education
SUPERVISES: Most Programs Coordinators do not have direct reports but they do manage
all resident activity in Lawson and other facility and GME programs systems.

Riding Counselors
Responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to!) instructing small group lessons, help plan
and supervise special barn events, participate and lead (if qualified) riding overnights, and
perform the duties required of a cabin counselor. We are looking for skilled riders/instructors
who enjoy working with girls ages 6-17.
Requirements
Applicants need to have strong fundamentals in hunt seat riding; must be at least 18 years of
age and/or completed at least one year of college. Need to be comfortable teaching hunt seat
riding in a group lesson. The level of lessons you will teach will be assigned based on your
skill level and experience. We have lessons ranging from beginner to advanced. Being able to
teach advanced lessons is a plus, but not required. Must be willing to participate in overnight
camping trips.
Employment Dates are from May 24th until August 19th. We do have 3 different camp
sessions so there is some wiggle room for start and end dates. Preference will be given to
those that can work the entire summer dates.

Trip Leader/Riding Instructor
Their main responsibly under the direction of the Head of Riding would be a trip
leader/counselor for our riding program. Must be comfortable camping in tents or in open air
cabins, sometimes up to 3 nights a week. Cooking over a camp stove and planning meals for 8
people. We offer several riding overnights and 3-day trips on and off camp property to
varying levels of riders. You would be asked to help plan and lead most of these.
When you are not on trips you will be asked to teach mounted and unmounted lessons to
campers so they can gain the skills needed to go on trips. You also will have cabin counselor
duties. This is a contract position and comes with a salary.
Camp runs from May 24th to Aug 19th. We would like to find someone who can commit to
the entire summer, but applicants need to be available for our Main camp dates (June 28th –
Aug 2nd).
Requirements
• Must be 21 and have or willing to obtain a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification. Camp can help you get this certification.
• Experience as a trail guide or wrangler preferred, but not required.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable or willing to teach/ride hunt seat. We are open to looking at applicants that have a strong background in other disciplines (English or Western).
• Basic Equine 1st aide
• Ability to be responsible and make good decisions for the safety of both campers and horses.
• Comfortable living in the outdoors up to 3 nights a week with 6 campers and a co-counselor.
Benefits

Summer Groom
Under the supervision of the Barn Manager, the 4 members of the barn staff oversee the
feeding, grooming, tacking, and general day to day care of 10 horses each. Work with the
riding instructors to create a fun, non-competitive atmosphere in which girls learn a wide
variety of stable and horsemanship skills. You will have daily interaction with children helping
them get to their lessons.
Requirements
Need to be able to comfortably work with a herd of horses and be able to safely control an
aisle of horses with children in and around the barn. Daily interaction with children helping
them get to their lessons. May occasionally be asked to assist on overnight trips.
