Annual General MeetingWestern India Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association,

held its AGM on 19th September at Hotel Atithi, Mumbai.

During the AGM, Mr. Narendra Vora of Virgin Kraft,Mumbai, was elected President and Mr. B. P. Agarwal ofTriumph Pack Pvt. Ltd., Aurangabad, was elected as VicePresident for the year 2008-2009.

Mr. Ashok Vyas, Chairman, Members’ DirectoryCommittee, presented to the house the WICMA Directory2008. It was released by Mr. B. A. Shah, a veteran of theindustry and an Honorary Member of Wicma.

There was a lecture on ‘Bargaining : A Win Win Strategy’by Dr. R H G Rau, Past President – NCQM and formerCorporate Quality Advisor, RPG Enterprises.

Mr. Satish Tyagi, President, FCBM, Mr. Susheel Sood fromUPCBMA, Mr. Anil K. Reddy, Vice President, FCBM,representing SICBMA, Mr. M. L. Agarwal from APCBMA andPast-President, FCBM, were also present.

The FCBM President appreciated the efforts of WICMA inconducting seminars and technical courses for the benefit ofits members and the industry.

On the lighter side, Mr. Deepak Killawala, the Past-Presidentof WICMA, cut his birthday cake and other three memberswho shared the birthday with him, were greeted by all.

The meeting was followed by Cocktails and Dinner.

On behalf of the South India Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association, it is our pleasure toinvite you to the 37th FCBM Conference, scheduled from 19-21 December, 2008.This comprehensive folder contains Participation Forms and highlights of the conference.

The Conference Venue – Hotel Green Park spread over a few acres is in the heart of the city. It hasall comforts of international standards. We are sure your stay at the venue will be a memorable one.

The Conference Theme ‘Packaging for Consumer Convenience’ is highly relevant especially inview of the retail revolution that is triggering the growth of the Packaging Industry.
