FRONT Ch 55. 1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 54 sts. 2nd row: Ch 1. 1 Lp st in each sc across. Turn. 3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st across. Turn. Rep 2nd and 3rd rows until work from beg measures 20” [51 cm], ending on a 3rd row. Fasten off. Approx = Approximately Beg = Beginning Ch = Chain(s) Lp st = Loop stitch (worked on WS) = Insert hook in next stitch. Wrap working yarn over top of index finger, from front to back, to form 2½” [6 cm] loop. Placing tip of hook behind yarn at front of index finger, Yoh and draw up a loop onto hook. BACK (make 2 pieces alike)Ribbing: Ch 7.1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 6 sc.2nd row: Ch 1. Working in back loops only, 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn. Rep last row until work from beg (when slightly stretched) measures 20” [51 cm]. Do notfasten o� . Proceed as follows:1st row: Turn work sideways. Ch 1. Work 54 sc evenly along side of Ribbing. Turn. PM at end of row.2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn. Rep last row until work from marker measures 11" [28 cm]. Fasten o� .

FINISHINGJoining Front and Back: Overlap Back pieces to match Front, with ribbed sections in center to create opening to insert pillow form. With RS facing, join yarn with sl st to any corner st of Pillow. Ch 1. Working through all thicknesses, work sc evenly around 4 sides of Pillow, having 3 sc in each corner. Fasten o� .

Cut Loops: Working row by row cut the center of each loop on Front of Pillow to create 2 strands of yarn per loop. Using yarn needle, un-ply each strand to create curled fur texture (as shown in photo). Insert pillow form.
