Miss Pakistan World 2012 Finalist

Sabiha is a 20 year old British Pakistani she is a computer science student at university and works as a part time teaching assistant at the Ilford learning centre in London. She also worked as a student learning assistant (SLA) at her university which she was awarded for recently. She has currently passed her second year at university and will pursue her third year. Her confidence has flour-ished whilst working with different age groups.

Sabiha worked voluntarily at an Asian Women’s Advisory Service (AWAS) where she has believed to have gained an insight into how many people perceive different prob-lems in life and deal with them, this has made her a very diplomatic person; she organised and performed a drama piece to empower women, this was her second live perfor-mance that she has ever given in a public place, she feels it’s a lovely experience to see people appreciate your help,

which is why she voluntarily went on to do this. She wants to do more to help women in the future, hence her presence in the Miss Pakistan pageant.

This pageant consists of 5 rounds of which one is a talent round; Sabiha has compiled a dance remix which consists of a mixture of Pakistani Western/English and Afghani songs, to perform on. The choice of music was hers; she believes the mixture represents the difference cultures in Pakistan; bringing the western world closer to Pakistan; this is something she believes people need to accept. The dance is choreographed by her and her friends who helped a lot critically.

She has been reading on Pakistan and India’s history and various other documents and books for her preparation towards this pageant. One of the most touching she feels

is the Parvez Musharrafs ‘In the line of fire’ which she was encouraged and motivated by as it sent a deep message through Parvez Musharrafs writing of events.Sabiha believes life has taught her a lot since childhood; teaching her to stay strong whether family problems were at hand or whether she was forced into anything. She calls herself a freedom fighter, as over the years she has become an individual who has always wanted to stand for not only her rights, but the rights of other citizens residing in Pakistan especially after paying a visit there last year; where she taught some children in the neighbourhood of Gojra Pakistan (which is in the Punjab province of Paki-stan) their basic English. She loves helping these vulner-able children who are in the need of education.

She says “it was touch-ing to see them so happy whilst learning; I would love to go back again whenever I get a chance and do something more supportive.” She has always believed that education is the base of understanding others opinions. This career was not happily ap-proved by her family or a few others she came across. Nonetheless, she carries her beliefs and dreams in a positive and confident manner, as there is more to her than what other want to enforce; she is looking forward to meeting people just like herself at this pageant in August.

The luxury brand label debuted in 2000 with the critically acclaimed millennium show in Lahore, Pakistan, the success of which brought with it an unprecedented amount of glitz and glamour. That year, Nickie Nina was invited to attend the MTV Awards in Delhi and to showcase at a group show under the aegis of Fashion TV International, in Bombay.

2001, 2002 and 2003 witnessed the brand hold exclusive Fashion shows at home and abroad. Their new collections were show-cased in Lahore, Chicago, Orlando and Washington, where their col-lections were viewed by fashion impresarios and Heads of State alike. The year 2004 was a landmark for the label, having received their first nomination for the prestigious Pakistani Lux Style Awards, held in Dubai, in the best Bridal wear/couture category. Dubai. In February of 2004 they were invited to show at the Pakistani High Commission in London and to exhibit in New York, which they did to much acclaim. On their return to Pakistan, Nickie Nina opened their ready to wear Flagship store in their home city, Lahore in Pakistan, in the high profile shopping area known as M.M.Alam Road. The following year, in 2005 they showcased at the Presi-dency in Pakistan, an event organised for George Bush’s visit to the country. They also held their first exhibition at Designer’s Lounge in Dubai and in Houston.

In 2006, Nickie Nina was invited to show their collection to the Saudi Arabian royal family in Jeddah. Following the success of their first exhibitions, Nickie Nina also returned to exhibit in Dubai and Chicago. 2006 also marked the opening of their second outlet in Karachi Pakistan’s high end retail venue, Zamzama.

Last year, Nickie Nina exhibited a collection in Dubai for a third time and to Orlando. In September they exhibited in London and in October, they showed at Lakme India Fashion Week to critical acclaim. 2008 also witnessed the opening of their third retail space in Pakistan.

This year, Nickie Nina showed at multiple international fashion destinations including New York, LA, Chicago, the UK, Bahrain and in Dubai. The label also held a charity fashion show in Pennsylvania, USA. Nationally, Nickie Nina brought to Pakistan their new brand label, Nickie Nina De-signer Fabric to much acclaim in both Karachi and Lahore and showcased their fusion bridal collection in Lahore in winter 2008.

Darksiders made around 1.86 million but it didn’t sustain its players for a long time. After some time players moved back to fifa which they usually play.First of all the character of darksider 2.Talking about death then it is an impatient soldier. He is different from his brother the strategist war. Death is much faster than war. Death is unstoppable. It doesn’t even waste time and has a metaphysical arm which decreases the distance between death and its enemies in darksider 2. In darksider 2 death has also given the feature in which he can utilize multiple armor sets. Not to forget about the 2 distinguishing skills of death. These two skills are Harbinger: which focuses on combat combination and second skill is Necromancer which is more focus on spells. In first part we know that

surroundings were not very much noisy they were next to muted. Darksiders 2 is different. It has featured death in an underground caravan which is very lively and colorful. Not only environment, almost everything in darsider 2 has been improved and advanced. But as per the information, darksider 2 has not touched combat more. Game is now much speedier but it still relies on one button. Defense is disappointing. At least if it’s an action game there should be good defense system in it. In defense what only you can do is to roll away to avoid the enemies.

Now, little teaser about the story of darksider 2, Death is on an adventurous mission to redeem his brother. In game death has to meet with a character who is Lord of Bones. This character was trying to process about 6 billion dead individuals and transferring them to underground. After this death has to fight in arena and win from the champion and has to get its head. Now this needs high agility and skill. Death has all this in itself.

Darksiders II merges action, exploration, and loot-driven progression into an excellent and sizable adventure.

The opening show of the 3rd edition of IIJW ‘Envi and Nizam by Gitanjali in association with Gr8 presents Beti’ was a show that went beyond glamour and glitter. It was a ‘show with a heart’ where famous TV and film celebrities along with well known corporate personalities walked the ramp for BETI - a joint initiative of Gitanjali Group and Gr8.
