EGNOS OFFER SUB 20CM ACCURACYEGNOS offer accuracy of 20cm. This means that you can come back to the samepoint in your field pass after pass and be within 20cm of where you were before. Thissystem is perfect for operators that simply want to get in and drive away and is bestsuited to crop spraying and tillage applications where accuracy and repeatabilityare not of prime concern.

OMNISTAR G2, XP AND HP OFFER SUB 12CM ACCURACYOmniSTAR XP and G2 provide 12cm accuracy, andthey are ideal for high performance broadacrespraying and land tillage applications.The OmniSTARG2 system is perfect for operations which rely heavilyon guidance and demand an around-the-clockuninterrupted signal, this is guaranteed as GLONASSsatellites are used in addition to GPS satellites. New Holland autoguidance solutions are compatible with a full range of guidance correction signals so that you can choose theexact level of precision that your operation requires. GPS and GLONASS correction signals are transmitted via a network ofsatellites that orbit the Earth and land based receivers can then determine their own position in relation to these signals.However, this alone is not accurate enough for agriculture, therefore a correction signal must also be used.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space based satellite navigation system and is part of a larger system called the GlobalNavigation Satellite System (GNSS). GNSS is a term used for all satellite constellation systems used to provide positioning data.Currently GNSS only covers GPS and GLONASS systems. GLONASS is similar to GPS and both are available worldwide. Whenauto guidance receivers track both GPS and GLONASS signals together, the number of 'visible' satellites is greatly increasedwhich reduces the risk of losing satellite coverage for increased uptime.

HOW ARE GUIDANCE SIGNALSTRANSMITTED AND RECEIVED?New Holland offers a wide range of receivers and antennas so that you can select the model which perfectly matchesyour guidance needs. From top of the range models with full IntelliSteer® compatibility to the entry level option, whichenables you to create simple yield maps, you’ll find the right solution. From base stations which transmit RTK signals,to the DCM-300 Modem which receives RTK VRS correction signals and advanced terrain compensation technology,you’ve got guidance covered on your farm.

SIGNAL TRANSMISSION, RECEPTION AND COMPENSATION

NH 062 RECEIVERThis entry level antenna can be used for mapping and is fully compatible with EGNOScorrection signals.

NH 162 RECEIVERThis standard receiver can be used for yield or field mapping and is Autopilot™compatible. It can receive EGNOS correction signals and is a differential GPS receiver. It boasts a strong magnetic attachment as well as a simulated radar output.

NH 372 RECEIVER This top of the range receiver is compatible with RTK Radio Transmission, RTK VRS,OmniSTAR and GLONASS correction signals to guarantee year round, and seasonafter season productivity and accuracy. Its slim profile makes it perfect for all machines.

AG 715 RADIOThe integrated RTK radio is designed for use with the NH 372 receiver and built for theagricultural environment. It is fully sealed against dust and rain. The AG 715 radio easilymounts under the NH 372 receiver housing.

AG 15 ANTENNA This antenna is fully compatible with the EZ-Guide® 250 monitor, and when used inconjunction with EGNOS correction signals, it enables pass-to-pass accuracy of 20cmand year-on-year accuracy of 90cm.

AG 25 ANTENNAThis antenna can be combined with the FM-750 FM-1000 and XCN-2050™ monitors, andis fully compatible with the full range of correction signals, including GPS, GLONASSOmniSTAR and RTK, where a RTK radio is used.

DCM-300 MODEMThis is more than just a standard modem, it is your passport to enhanced productivity. It can receive the RTK VRS correction signal, but that is not all. It plays a fundamentalrole in the PLM® Connect Telematics applications, by transmitting and receiving keydata to enhance productivity and reduce losses. It can also be linked to PLM®

Software packages to transfer pre-prepared prescription maps and guidance paths.

NAVIGATION CONTROLLER IIEmploying the industry leading T3™ Terrain Compensation technology, theNavigation Controller II takes position information from the DGPS receiver, and sendsprecise steering instructions to the vehicle, ensuring on-line performance in even themost undulating and rough terrain.

AUTOMATIC SECTION CONTROLSection Control automatically shuts off rows orsections, eliminating double application ofseed and fertiliser. It uses the tractor’s GPSsystem to automatically turn on and offindividual planter sections in areas that havealready been covered, or at headland turns,point rows, waterways or terraces. VARIABLE RATE APPLICATION CONTROLVary application rates using prescription maps to better manage field variability. Variability in fields can be influenced byfactors such as soil properties, topography, cropping history and field use. GPS position is communicated to the ratecontroller as the application equipment moves across different zones in the field, enabling it to vary application rates byzone. Rather than just applying a constant seed rate you can apply higher seed populations in well irrigated or highlyfertile areas to maximize yield performance and use a lower application rate in less fertile areas or areas with poorirrigation. ECOBRAUD REDUCES YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINTConsumers are increasingly demanding farmproduce with a reduced carbon footprint, and the ECOBraud strategy, that encompasses thecomplete range of New Holland viticultureequipment, including Braud grape harvesters andspeciality tractors does just that. When fuel savingsfrom IMS and fertiliser savings from spreadermanagement are combined, a reduction in thecarbon footprint of vineyards by up to 40% isachievable, well ahead of the 2020 targets, whichmandate a 20% overall reduction. This will directlycontribute to a 10% reduction in the overall carbonfootprint of each and every bottle of wine produced.

PLM® CONNECT ESSENTIAL:STANDARD TELEMATICS PACKAGE The entry-level PLM® Connect Essential package featuresfleet management and mapping functionality and can trackall machines on a single webpage as well as displaying theircurrent positions and actual activity. Moreover machinesecurity is enhanced as virtual geofences and curfews canbe set, which alert fleet managers when machines are usedoutside pre-defined working hours or areas to keepmachines safe from theft or unauthorized usage.

PLM® CONNECT PROFESSIONAL:STATE OF THE ART TELEMATICS FOR ADVANCED AGRIBUSINESSES The PLM® Connect Professional telematics packageoffers all of the features included in the Essentialpackage plus the ability to visualise different machinedisplays to monitor operating parameters and faultcodes. It is also possible to immediately send amessage to the operator by using the messagingsystem on the web portal, to which they can respondfor validation. Machine operating information can betransformed into performance analysis reports, byusing PLM® Software, that can be used to enhanceproductivity and efficiency and assists in swiftdecision making. Fuel usage is monitored to preventtheft and fleet managers can even activate messagealerting functionality. Furthermore, each machine canbe instantly tracked and location reports are sent inreal-time to monitor current usage profiles and assistcontractors in managing work flows.

PLM® WATER CONTROL Water is precious and it is the lifeblood of your farm. WithPLM® Water Control you could increase yields by up 25% andcut your farm’s water consumption by up to 30%. The fieldlevelling technology facilitates land levelling and leveedesign for unsurpassed efficiency. The drainage solutionpackages integrate survey data, analysis, design, installationand mapping to provide the most efficient drainage package.Further package functionality includes identifying optimalplacement of tile and surface drains in both surface and sub-surface drainage projects. You can view field topographicaldata in 3D from any angle and exaggerate the vertical tovisualise the shape and slopes of the field.
