I am not receiving any instructor

announcements. What should I do?

Answer: If you are not receiving emails

from your instructor, check your junk

mail folder to see if the messages are

there. If they are not there, email your

instructor and make sure they have the

correct email address for you.

What should I do if I am late for my Virtual

Classroom session?

Answer: If you are late for your Virtual

Classroom session you can still join. Send

your instructor a message letting them know

you are joining late.

I can’t join a session due to personal

reasons or technical issues. What should

I do?

Answer: Contact your instructor by e-mail

if you are unable to join a Virtual

Classroom session for any reason.

What do I do if I join the session late and

everyone else is in discussion groups?

Answer: Stay in the Main Room and

wait. The instructor will move you into a

group or tell you to wait for the others to

return.

For Courses Requiring an e-text:

Do I need to purchase the e-text or

MyLab access if I already have a

hardcopy textbook?

Answer: If you have a hard copy of the

etext book, you will probably not need to

purchase the etext online. Check with

your instructor.

Are the MyLab exercises and assignments

going to be graded?

Answer: Your instructor will let you know

which exercises and assignments will

count towards your final grade. If you are

unsure, ask your instructor.

Answer: To purchase your e-text, use the

link that says “w/ eText” (which means

“with eText”). If you are still unsure, check
