Do Acupuncture Needles Hurt?

The idea of having needles placed into the

body may elicit thoughts of pain for most,

thin. In fact, 5 needles equal the width of a

regular hypodermic needle.

People experience the needle sensation

differently. Generally, the impressions

range from feeling almost nothing at all, to

a slight tingling sensation, to the sensitivity

one might get when a single hair is pulled

out.

regulatory body?

Finally, like any relationship, is the
