Services were conducted by Revs. E. J. Harris and W. P. Banks, at the M. E. Church. The little child was without father and mother, to cheer her last moments. Her mother being dead, and her father away in Texas. Her death was one of the most heart-rendering scenes ever witnessed here, but she has gone to join her mother and friends in that home not made by hands. The ceremonies at the grave were very impressive. The direct cause of the little one’s demise was fever. She suffered greatly, but her suffering all over for she is sweetly sleeping in the arms of her blessed Saviour where there is no more sorrows, no more partings. She has gone to meet her Saviour in that celestial city. Father, live a consistent, christian life and meet your little daughter in the Great Beyond. Frazier, BillieFuneral services for Billie Ann

Frazier, 63, were held Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Spry Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Pieper officiating and burial in Frazier Family Cemetery.

Today, for the first time, we must begin our day without our wonderful mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and best friend. Mother was extraordinary in all her roles: professionally as the recently retired chief clerk of the Probate Court for Madison

County and personally as the cornerstone of our family. She delighted in hugs from all her grandchildren, Jonathan, Rebecca, Jacob, Andrew, Ryan, Sam Christopher and William; in seeing her guests eat too much of her home cooked meals; in literally trying to provide you with whatever you needed. Her generosity was truly boundless and if there was work to be done, she was unstoppable. Her greatest joy was her marriage to her late husband and love of her life, John Frazier. With his passing May 14, 2003, mother was just beginning to smile again when she was suddenly taken from us.

She leaves a large devoted family: daughter, Barbara Gail Frazier (Todd Nuckles), Bruno Frazier (Geri Irwin), Henry Frazier (Natalie Hill); sisters: Jean Harney, Peggy Pearson, Judy Sadlon and brother, Boyd Malone; mother-in-law, Louise Frazier; sister-in-laws: Judy Kimbrell, Peggy Thomas, Deborah Fuson, Kathy Hendrix and Lisa Cripps; and leaves many close friends through her work, Whitesburg Baptist Church and other groups such as Senior Friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: C.H. and Bmice Malone.

Fuson, A. J.Death’s angel has again visited

our midst and summoned A. J. Fuson, Sr., to appear in that tribunal above to vindicate his account which he has, for the past 60 years, 7 months and 28 days been making with his father.

Mr. Fuson was born May 15, 1846 and died Jan. 13, 1907. He leaves 3 sons and 3 daughters besides a host of friends and relatives to mourn his death.

The end with Uncle Jack came not unexpected for he had wrestled with the stalking monster for more than a year, but in God’s infinite wisdom he saw best to crown Uncle Jack in a home prepared by Him from the foundation of the world.

To the bereaved ones let me say, grieve not as thoes who have no hope, for on the 24th day of May, 1906, he professed faith in Christ, saying that he knew Him in the free pardon of his sins. We knew his life, prior to his confession, to be a model one for he was ever willing to do any act of right and openly again at any deed of wrong; proving the same by his daily walks. He was a loving father, a devoted husband and a worthy friend.

Not only his immediate family but the whole community has lost a friend.

Again to his family let me say:

He cannot retrace his steps on earth and be with you again, but you can go to him and your mother, who preceded him 20 years for they await you above the stars to meet you in that land from whence no traveler ever returned, where the reunion will be at God’s right hand in a world that shall never end. This is a sweet consolation: that they have drawn the drapery of their couch around them to dream dreams promised only to those who live up to the standard of christian living. Jesse Cantrell.
