Fanbeam - advantages and disadvantages

Advantages:— High accuracy— Easy to install— Passive target and requires not support when installed

Disadvantages:— inoperative when sun shining directly into the lenses— lenses can be affected by condensation, rain and salt spray— vulnerable for fog, snow and heavy rain— may be confused by bright lights near the target— may suffer from reflective items near the target
