Giving back is a way of life here at River Street Sweets. Living the sweet life wouldn’t be any fun if we couldn’t share! Ever since we were children, Pam “Mimi” Strickland and Georgia “MawMaw” Nash taught us the value of giving to others.Last year for National Praline Day, we were lucky to partner with Kid’s Cafe, a wonderful program that helps feed at-risk youth here in Savannah. We also make it a point to give back to a variety of causes, including Senior Citizens Inc. and the Caretta Research Project, to name a few. Thank you to everyone who celebrated National Praline Day with us. Together our family of brands donated 10% of all praline sales on June 24th 2017 in store, and online June 23-24. It was a HUGE success for our 1st annual event and we were able to present a check totaling $3,342.25 to the Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia’s Kids Cafe program!
