Le Carrousel kids’ club, with its dedicated arts & crafts room and privatepool, welcomes children aged 3-12 years to enjoy a rich collection ofexperiences and provides unforgettable activities for families to enjoyincluding children’s yoga, nighttime ghost crab hunting, local flora andfauna workshops, island treasure hunts and more.

For teenagers, Le Paddock offers exciting island excursions, variouslearning activities and various other activities for the entire groupincluding yoga and stargazing. This teens’ club is equipped with a medialounge, foosball table and ping-pong table. Its proximity to theWatersports Centre also makes it an ideal place for teenagers to socialiseand enjoy an exciting range of aquatic, thrill-seeking experiences.

Le Carrousel, nestled among palm trees and just steps away from thebeach is a little paradise for children. An expert and caring team ofAmbassadeurs welcomes children aged 3 to 12 years old daily from10:00 am to 6:00 pm and offers a fun and educational range of arts &crafts, nature and sporting experiences that are sure to open little onesup to new discoveries and friendships.

Le Carrousel features two indoor playrooms – one dedicated to arts andcrafts, and the other for children 0-3 years old – and extensive outdoorareas including a Kid’s Pool with a water slide, shaded play area and LeCarrousel beach for fun-filled activities including Sand Castle buildingand mini-Olympics. Children’s appetites are satiated by the dailycreations of healthful and tasty refreshments by the Maison’s chefs.

Le Carroussel is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Evening activities beginning at 7:30pm are planned on a regular basis to entertain children whilst parents enjoy a private dinner.

Tennis Adventure on MaakurandhooTake a musical boat ride to the jungle island of Maakurandhoo where aTennis Coach teaches masterful tennis skills! Whether a private family orgroup kids’ session, everyone can play and compete in the finaltournament where the winner gets a certificate!

Island Treasure Hunting

Put your adventure hats and your best pirate face forward – we’re off tohunt treasure throughout the Maison’s three islands! Adventure-worthycostumes (Ninjas, Pirates and Cowboys) are provided as well ashandcrafted accessories. Two teams – Randheli yellow and blue – gohead to head in this island discovery!

Practice the art of sand sculpting and colour your way along the beach!Collect shells and beautiful stones from the beach and decorate yourown sand turtle, whale, starfish or anything your imagination can create!Parents are invited to join their little sculptors in this hands-on, feet-in-the-sand activity that celebrates creativity and nourishes little minds.

Every week, Le Carrousel features a number of exciting, immersive‘theme days’ where the children of the Maison may experience an entireday dedicated to one culture, subject or activity!

Culinary Exploration Day

This theme day focuses on fun with food! From morning to evening,each activity is based on a food-related subject. In the morning, learnabout different fruits and vegetables – and play a tricky trivia game withcrazy-shaped exotic fruits. Who can name them all? Then, learn how toeat healthy to build strong bones! Next, culinary competitions andhands-on activities from pizza making, to cupcake decorating to cookiebaking with the Maison’s master chefs. A super-secret sneak peekfollows the culinary class with a tour of the magical kitchens of Randheliwhere children can meet all of our incredible chefs! Join in for the finalculinary competition where Mum and Dad compete too!

Le Carrousel’s Theme Days

Maldivian Day

Every Thursday, Maldivian Day comes to the Maison. Children areinvited to learn about the Maldivian culture and traditions in workshopsfrom flag making to fun-filled geography games, to basic languagelearning. Then, we bring the fun outdoors for traditional games such as“Akubaku” or “hide the ball under the sun.” During Mum and Dad’sMaldivian Night Dinner, children are invited to a nighttime Kids’Corner where they can try local gastronomy, make palm leafdecorations, and dance to traditional boduberu music!

World Celebration Day

Celebrate the diverse countries of each of our guests. Beginning with aworld map challenge and geography class, every child can present theircountry to us and also learn about the different continents that make upour world! Then, a flag art sessions and our own Mini-Olympicschallenge will spark friendly competition! Light refreshments and a giftceremony follow the day of international relations. Children below theage of 3 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Le Carrousel’s Special Occasions

• For Teens

Le Paddock is a refuge for teens to relax, play and socialize in theirdedicated hideaway. Ideally located right next to the beach and theWatersports Centre it allows teens to enjoy the pristine natural setting ofRandheli in all freedom.

Special experiences are offered according to the expectations of eachgroup: exciting diving and snorkeling excursions, special teen yoga andspa treatments, etc… In addition, a variety of games may be enjoyedamongst friends including table-tennis, pool, table football, darts andchess. At the lounge area, teens can mingle, listen to music, play videogames or enjoy a tropical smoothie!

Activities for Teens

Teens are invited to experience Randheli’s waters with a series of fun-filled, thrill seeking adventures and activities.

Lessons are available for sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and water-skiing and well as fly-boarding. Including certificates of completion foreach course, teens can skate across the tips of the water and test theirskills in agility and balance!

Competitions and races are a spirited challenge to bring teens together atRandheli. From single or group kayak races, to Stand-Up Paddlebalance and speed competitions to the Randheli Triathlon (kayak, SUP,swim and beach run) – the finest athletes are put to the test!

Enjoy the outdoors – and a bit of a mental challenge – with a life-sizedgiant chess game or a traditional pétanque set-up.

Giant Chess

The giant chess board welcomes big and little strategists to try their handin this sport for the mind.

Pétanque

For a taste of Provence, our Ambassadeurs are delighted to teach youand your family the rules of the coveted French game pétanque.Combine this friendly competition with fresh-pressed juices, a glass ofrosé or a classic Pastis, and the day is yours to play away.

Enjoy an unforgettable moment on board Cheval Blanc Randheli’sbespoke seaplane with your entire family. Fly into the Maldivian sky andwitness the turquoise beauty from the sky in an extraordinary 15-minuteflight.

Dress up for the occasion with your very own pilot hat and pilot’s wingsand meet the captain and the crew at the cockpit before take off for apre-flight briefing! Then, take a seat in the cabin and watch the pilotsduring their take-off maneuvers. Snap as many photos of the lagoonwhere the water meets the sky for your memories.

Hosted inthe White, Diptyque, In-Villa or La Table de Partage, allow yourculinary skills to blossom and then follow the chefs to a behind-the-scenes peek in Randheli’s magical kitchens! Ile au Trésor – Treasure Island

A kids’ only or family experience, open your little one’s eyes the beautyof Randheli during a specially-created adventure. This game of cluesbegins with a gentle sail to a nearby soft sandbank where a treasure mapleads your little pirate from treasure to treasure, discovering the secretsof the jungle islands along the way. Relax beneath the shade of the palmfronds or join your little adventurer on the safari. Then, refresh andrecharge like pirates do with the beachside picnic prepared by theMaison’s chefs.

Always advocating family unity, Cheval Blanc Randheli has cleverlydesigned a Family Wellbeing Journey, the first of its kind in theMaldives.

An all-encompassing healthful and stimulating programme brings yourfamily together for a daily sport activity.

Following these daily sports adventures, a blast of friendly-competition issparked on the beach or in the Maison’s lush gardens as the recreationteam designs festive fitness challenges such as Family Team Training or aBeach Obstacle course.

Bubblemaker Exploration

Like a dolphin splashing in the water, lets blow bubbles together!Children 8 years and older are introduced to the world of underwaterbreathing with an introductory mini-course teaching them about theworkings of scuba diving gear made just for kids In the shallow waters ofthe pool or Noonu Atoll, children can breathe as the fish do whilstunder the direct care of a PADI professional diver. Parental approvalrequired, no prior experience required. Let’s see who can blow the mostbubbles!

From specially-made baby cots, bumper cushions and linens by Baudouto a Bugaboo Chameleon stroller in the Maison’s colours, our littlestguests are always looked after. Soaps, lotions, derma-wipes and derma-cleansers by Mustela are available. Other equipment such as baby bathtubs, potties, monitors and bottle warmers and sterilisers are availableupon request. Extra nappies may be provided with advance notice.

The Cheval Blanc Spa

Children are welcome to discover the universe of the Cheval Blanc Spawith carefully tailored treatments to experience alone or alongside aparent during Mother-Daughter ritual or Father-Son treatment. Frommini-Guerlain facial to mini-mani-pedis, our youngest guests are invitedto ‘do as Mum and Dad’ do on our island dedicated to well-being.Children under the age of 10 require full supervision throughouttreatments or use of the Cheval Blanc Spa pool.

Fitness Centre

Our Recreation Ambassadeurs have designed special classes andprogrammes with Le Carrousel team for our younger guests that arefilled with action and friendly competition! Children under the age of 8years require full guardian supervision while children from 8-15 can besupervised only by a personal trainer. Teens 16 years and older arepermitted to train without supervision.

Wellness for Children

Baby Purée Menu

Our chefs have created a weekly 5-meal baby purée menu made oforganic products that delights mothers and their little ones.Alternatively, the Maison’s chefs are on hand to meet parents uponarrival to discuss their children’s preferences and prepare a menuaccording to their tastes. Desired food items may be stocked directly in-villa for convenient access around the clock whilst dedicatedMajordomes are available 24/7 for any supplementary items.

Our Childrens’ Menu is available at Le Carrousel, in-villa and at allrestaurants with the exception of Le 1947 gastronomic restaurant.Children will relish in creative and healthy choices, while our chefssurprise and delight from day to day!
