ABOUT ME
My name is Sarah
Fletcher and I am cur-
rently a student at Red
Deer College working
my butt off to get into
the Middle years pro-
gram. I am now in
twelve classes this year
trying to make up for
the dropping of a class
last year.
Why I took this class To me human sexuality is a very
important thing to learn about. First of
all, we spend the most time with our
body the time and for some people they
no the littlest about. As well there are
so many different mindsets you can
have when learning about human sexu-
ality and I want to open my mind to
these differences. Human sexuality I
believe should be tough to students be-
cause they can become so misinformed
by both friends and media. Now be-
cause this is a awkward topic I think
this class will aide me with getting over
this wired feeling and be able to address
a class of children professionally to get
the most out of it. Also I love discussing
controversial statements, and getting
other peoples opinion on subjects to
broaden my views.
ME NOW Currently I am living off
campus with my good friend and my
dog. We also have a gold fish named
Sally. A interesting thing that I
learned this year is that dishes is
the source of all roommate prob-
lems. Since the house I live in now
has a dishwasher the fighting and dis-
agreements has disappeared.
THINGS I LIKE AND
DISLIKE The season I love
the most is Spring. There is
just something about when
the snow melts and flowers
come out that is magical.
Feet gross me out to the max.
They are fine at a distance but
as soon as they get close to me I
can not handle it.
I love the feeling that I get when I solve
a problem. I believe this is why
I love math so much.
Mice scare me more then any-
thing in the world. Yes this
made me a terrible farm girl
and pretty much useless to my step Dad
when grain bins needed to be cleaned
out but as much as I try I can not get
over this fear.
AMBITIONS I feel very privileged
that I have the opportunity and the abil-
ity to learn. To me knowledge
is very important in better our-
selves and society. I am look-
ing forward to the day when I
can teach for a living. I would
love to travel and teach chil-
dren in third world countries as
I feel that it would be providing them
with a huge opportunity.
