CCD FUNDRAISER
Thank You for Your Continued Support!
Don’t throw away those empty printer cartridges
and old cell phones!
Help us get cash for your trash! Drop off your empty inkjet & laser cartridges, used cell phones, and PDA’s in the “Cartridges for Kids” Collection Basket in the St. Martha Room. Tell your family, friends, and Businesses. All proceeds benefit the CCD Program.
This is a great fundraiser for CCD because it requires ZERO investment and is a total profit for Mater Ecclesiae.
***Look for our wicker basket in the St. Martha Room!***
This summer, Bishop DiMarzio Hall has had a great deal of work done to it. The cement floor in
the back of the hall was patched and painted. The cost of the paint was $300.00.
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE TABLES OR CHAIRS. DO NOT DRAG THEM ACROSS THE FLOOR!
Lift them!! DO NOT SCUFF OR SCRATCH OUR NEW FLOOR!
The walls were spackled, sanded and painted, which cost us $2,600.00.
Just those two projects totaled $2,900.00. PLEASE DO NOT PUT TAPE, TACKS OR
ANYTHING ON THE WALLS! Use easels or stands for signs.
It will cost us about $1,000.00 to custom order
heavy duty washable tablecloths, about $500.00 for new blinds & shades, and another $500.00 for
banquet serving tables. I ask that you take care of our parish home.

Mater Ecclesiae Drama Club
Mater Ecclesiae's Drama Club classes will begin on Tuesday, September 15th in Bishop DiMarzio Hall at approximately 3:30 PM for interested children in the nine and ten year old group. This will be a pilot program to get the younger students started in drama and will probably convene when the older students begin their rehearsals for the end-of-year production. The Young Adult Group, ages 11 and up will be meeting for classes from approximately 4:15 PM to 6 PM on the same day. Students will learn improvisation, mime, breathing techniques, diction, voice projection, make-up, characterization, and stage direction. They will also act perform monologues and scenes, have instruction on costumes and hairstyles for different time periods, and will learn about props, sound effects and stage management. Hopefully, this will bring us to our third early summer production in 2011. If you have any questions, please call me at 856-228-3172 or e-mail me at [email protected] Thank you, Linda Hasson
