• Liberating service learning (Randy Stoecker) — recent book by that title, all group speaker on Monday, afternoon elective workshop on case study

(Annie Pasqua) — special focus on 3rd and 4th year topics and strategies
• Student leadership in 3rd and 4th years (Sam Ha) — special focus on how students can help support staff in developing and managing capacity-building projects
• Senior capacity-building capstone projects (Kelly Finn, Ariane Hoy, & Dave Roncolato) — models for implementing these both in your Bonner Program and for other students through academically-connected pathways (including within Bonner network)
Current Initiatives• Food Justice Pathway (Congressional Hunger Center/
Bonner partnership) — two workshops on Tuesday
• PolicyOptions Issue Briefs — idea for 2nd year Bonners to localize issue briefs on wiki as a 15-20 hour assignment (which then will provide broader context for upper-level projects
• Social innovation/entrepreneurship links — another pathway link (UNC-Chapel Hill, Emory & Henry, others?)
• Bonner Social Innovation Fund / Bonner Community Fund — financial support for student collaborations with community partners
• Summer Service Opportunities Database from BWBRS
