welcome... Now that the days are shorter and the weather has begun to bite, what better way to give your self some welcome winter cheer than by dipping into our new season brochure at FTH.

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without pudding, pressies and Panto! This year we have a special treat at FTH as Falkirk Youth and Children’s Theatre take to the stage once more with their version of Aladdin. Expect fun and festive frolics with a very Falkirk flavour!

Once the tinsel has been packed away for another year we still have lots to look forward to as we take to the floor with a new course of tassle twirling Burlesque, a new day for our little Busy Bees and our Tea Dances and the culmination of the Reasons to Dance project with our friends at the National Theatre of Scotland.

We’re also welcoming for the first time the wonderful Random Accomplice with their new plays Double Nugget - guaranteed to bring a smile to even the most dour winter face.

Reasons to Dance is a new arts project in Falkirk exploring why we dance, our memories of dancing and traditions associated with going out dancing. Created by the National Theatre of Scotland in partnership with Falkirk Community Trust, Reasons to Dance combines true tales of dancing with drama, music and visual art in events across the town. In March 2012 Reasons to Dance will culminate in a major theatrical event created by, and for, the people of Falkirk, in a place filled with dancing memories. Venue and booking details will be announced.

The National Theatre of Scotland is looking for groups and individuals from the Falkirk area to share their reasons to dance and to get involved with the project. From dance hall to disco, quickstep to dubstep, dancing triumphs or dancing disasters, we want to hear all your dancing stories.

The Heart of Scotland Choir Heart and SoulSaturday 18th FebruaryIf you’ve not had a chance to catch Heart of Scotland Choir then book your tickets now as these lovely lads and ladies are destined to be huge!

Formed by Stirling based sisters Annie Smart and Jane Hamilton in October 2010 this is no ordinary choir. All local people from Stirling and the surrounding areas, aged 15 to 65, from students to nurses to teachers, their repertoire includes songs by surprising bands and singers such as The Kings of Leon and Primal Scream.

After only two months together, The Heart of Scotland Choir were delighted to be given the opportunity to sing at Stirling Castle’s 2010 Hogmanay Celebrations which then led to a spot on Ewen Cameron’s Real Radio Breakfast Show in the same week! 2011 has proved to be a phenomenal year for the HOS Choir. They have performed at numerous events across Central Scotland, sold out their first concert at Stirling’s Albert Halls, and appeared on John Barrowman’s BBC1 show Tonight’s The Night. Ivor Hart Mon 7th Nov - Wed 29th Feb After finishing training at Gray’s School of Art and Aberdeen College of Education, Ivor taught Art and Design in Central Scotland and is based at The Artists’ Studios in Denny. All the paintings in the exhibition are acrylic on canvas and Ivor draws on ideas from historical, mythological as well as contemporary themes. They include figure and natural landscape as well as a imagined environment.

We accept most debit and credit cards by phone. Tickets can be sent directly to the customer (50p for postage) or uplifted from the Steeple Box Office or FTH Box Office prior to the performance.

Concession TicketsAvailable for under 16s, unemployed in receipt of benefits, students, OAPs, Young Scot Card Holders.

Proof of eligibility must be shown at time of booking.

RefundsTickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase except in the event of a cancellation of the performance / event by FTH.
