Unfortunately, this may take some time, but we don’t want to prevent you from accessing online lessons in the meantime! Before Getting on FaithCSDE Whiteboard Before trying to access the FaithCSDE Whiteboard Powered by BigBlueButton it is worth taking the time to view the the tutorial videos, which really explain how to setup your microphone and audio as well as generally how to use the program. Go to http://bigbluebutton.org/videos/ and select Viewer Overview (3 minutes) Setting Up Audio (7 minutes) Why BBB? BigBlueButton (BBB) is an open source web conferencing system that will enable us to deliver and interact with parents and students in an online environment. We will be able to further develop BBB for our future needs (e.g. record lessons) BBB can be hosted on our server. BBB provides us with the option of having an online lesson in which there can be a potentially unlimited number of participants and minimal data usage. BBB is well designed for an educational context. You do not need to have a Google, Facebook, Hotmail, Skype or a similar account to access this.
