Managing credit control department wholesale division of Nike & Non Nike brands Ensure full implementation and Compliance according to group credit policy and to establish adequate financial controls for granting, monitoring and controlling of credit granted to customers.

Negotiating credit Terms with customers. Forwarding LC Documents to the bank with TCN, COO and other details as per the terms mention in letter of credit.

Reporting and submitting monthly, quarterly, & annual report to Management on collection, DSO customer status, Major customer, default customer, overdue report, Provisions, Market status and other concerns if any.

Negotiation with customers to resolve outstanding issues and secures payment of overdue debts which involve liaison in person, by phone and written medium with

internal and external at all levels. Immediately resolving any dispute bills and taking appropriate action without delaying with superior approvals.

Monthly revision of credit customer seeing their credit worthiness and ensuring the cash follow based on the TOT of the credit customer.

Management of accounts and cash management structures, including account opening, closing monitoring usage, maintaining database of accounts, margins credit lines etc.

Maintaining strong working relationships with local banks. Reviewing and arranging Bank Guarantees & Credit facilities (BG & LC) with local banking

partners. Manage and monitor liquidity buffer, making sure that the firm has access to

appropriate liquidity at appropriate times. Handling of External/ Internal Audit queries.

Over all Working Experience Details:

Responsible for appraising the credit risk of new and existing customers, consistent with the Refining & Marketing credit standard & policies, acquire and review financial data for customers, using market information and direct from the customer working with representatives from the business as appropriate. Information will be analysed to assess the credit worthiness of customers and to assign a risk rating as outlined by the Credit Policy. Working on daily, Monthly quarterly and annually reporting of credit exposures for the group.

Key accountabilities

Credit Monitoring of customers – Monitoring of all debts as per contractually agreed credit terms. Ensure direct immediate contact is made to recover funds, review credit position daily and advise credit manager and account holders to ensure their co-operation in recovering debts. Daily monitoring of prepay accounts to ensure supplies are made with prior funds in our account. Periodic customer credit limits review to ensure exposures are within credit limits approved by management.

Customer account reconciliation – Collection and Banking with review of all applicable bank accounts. Cash matching as per company’s financial system to allocate cash received from our customers to correct accounts and reconciliation of these accounts.

Working closely with the business on a daily basis to ensure timely collections and query resolution.

Work to SOX compliance, and assure that the Global Credit policy is applied at all times Supporting the month end general ledger close activities.

Other Responsibilities:

Timely review of customer data and the preparation of credit recommendations, especially for new accounts where information may be scarce and decisions are required promptly to ensure business continuity.

Compliance with quarterly reporting deadlines for Credit Standard and input to monthly KPIs for the team.

Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments if necessary, as per the company’s debt collection procedure.

Deal effectively and on a daily basis with ‘On Hold’ orders for both wholesale and other divisions as per listings to ensure no order is on hold.

Effectively dealing with customer account queries / complaints, including liaising with other departments, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion. To ensure all customer queries are logged and recorded on to the Enquiry Management system by creating support calls.

Dealing with new accounts, Ensuring satisfactory credit references are obtained , Setting up the account details on Navision & communication to all relevant parties , Establishing an agreed credit limit with the Credit Manager and / or Sales Director , Amending accounts details / addresses etc., as required.

Ensuring monthly statements are prepared, printed, vetted and ready for posting by the 2nd working day of each month.

Tree and Ex- Next-Generation. Medical Transcriptionist.
