WithmanynewresidentscomingtoFairwayEstatesinthepastfewyears,manyofwhomarecomfortableonsocialmediasites,wearehearingloudandclearthatget-togethersatLakeSaundraareagreatwaytomeetyourneighbors,findplaymatesforyourkids,traderestaurantreviews,andenjoysomeofthebestbalmyweatheroftheyear.Wehaven’tsettledonathemeyet,butplanonachancetocelebratespringforafewhoursandsendthesnowbirdsoffinstylein2016.

NewBoardMember DianneSchuldt,whoboughtahomeonWatrouswithJimRiley,wasborninMilwaukee,WIandraisedinasmalltownnearthere.DianneattendedUWOshkosh,andgraduatedin1972withaBSinnursing.Sheworkedherentirecareerinhospitalsinmanystates,withthelast22yearsincriticalcare.Itwasallveryrewarding. DiannehadanunclewholivedonClearwaterBeach,sosheknewtheareabeforemovinghere.Diannesays,“WewereveryhappytofindahomeinDelightfulDunedin,whereJimandIarecurrentlyinterestedinwaystokeepDunedinquaintanddelightful.”ParkingatLakeSaundra

WeaskedtheCitytoremovetheNoParkingsignsonthelakesideofPalmBlvd.,whichtheyhavedone,soitisnowlegaltoparkonthestreet.Peoplearestillparkingcarsandgolfcartsonthegrass,whichputsoursprinklersystematrisk,andcouldbealiabilityissuewithourinsurancecompany.Pleasekeepyourvehiclesoffthegrass!

BoatsandTrailers Wewanttokeepourcommunitylookinggood,andwhileyourtrailerorboatmaybebeautifulinyoureyes,itisaneyesoretoyourneighbors.PleasehelpusenforceDunedin’scity-wideordinancesregardingboatandtrailerstorageonprivateresidentialprop-erty.Youmaynotstorethemondrive-waysorstreets,andwenotifythecitywhenahomeownerisinviolation,whichcanmeandailyfines.
