Keep an eye out for a banana-costume clad Fairtrade campaigner giving out bananas and flyers detailing all the events we have going on throughout Fairtrade Fortnight. International Development, Multinational Companies and Workers Rights' ** 6pm - 8pm, MacRobert 302 Join the Model United Nations (MUN) society for their weekly debate, which this week will focus on the theme of Fairtrade – discussing workers’ rights and international development. Aberdeen For a Fairer World Stall 10am-2pm, AUSA Students’ Union Lobby Aberdeen For A Fairer World will be selling a host of fairtrade products including chocolate, coffee, and clothing. Chocolate-Making Workshop 5pm-6.30pm, The Chaplaincy Kitchen Free chocolate! Using Fairtrade chocolate, learn how to make some delicious chocolate treats with Franziska, who will guide you through a variety of ways of cooking with chocolate. VegBag 12pm – 4pm Each Tuesday, the VegBag scheme offers a large bag of local, organic vegetables for just £6. Place your order by 5pm on Tuesday to collect a bag the following week from The Student Marketplace stalls in AUSA Students’ Union Building Aberdeen For a Fairer World Stall 10am-2pm Suttie Centre, Foresterhill Aberdeen For A Fairer World will be selling a host of fairtrade products including chocolate, coffee, and clothing. Come along and check out their range! Powered by Pecha Kucha Night 6pm - 8pm, Linklater Rooms Originating in Japan, the PechaKucha presentations last 6 minutes and 40 seconds with 20 images lasting each for 20 seconds. On this night we will be hearing a range of different PechaKucha talks from students and staff at The University of Aberdeen exploring fairtrade, social responsibility, and sustainability. Free fairtrade snacks available.
