Fairfax Imaging expands our success in the State Tax and Revenue mar-ket with two key awards - the Vermont Department of Taxes Scanning, Imaging, Data Capture and Remittance Processing Solution and the Or-egon Department of Revenue Processing Center Modernization project. Fairfax Imaging was awarded these contracts after an exhaustive com-petitive evaluation process. Vermont and Oregon join a growing list of 24 states and the District of Columbia that look to Fairfax Imaging as their partner for revenue processing.

State-of-the-Art technologies help to reduce or eliminate costly mail presorts allowing the work to be scanned in the order it is received. Vir-tual batching techniques automatically group transactions by tax type after scanning to ensure each transaction is processed with the proper business rules.

Are You on Quick Modules 3.0?

Quick Modules 3.0 was originally released in 2006. Fairfax Imaging has continued to sup-port Quick Modules 3.0 to protect our clients investment however as Microsoft migrates to newer browsers and operating systems, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to support the Quick Modules 3.0 software to be compatible with these new Microsoft versions. For example, there have been issues identified when running Quick Modules 3.0 on Microsoft Server 2012 and newer as a result of new Microsoft Operating Sys-tems and server hardware. Please contact your support representative for more details.

Fairfax Imaging continues to support Quick Modules 3.0 however, all engineering ef-forts are focused on the Quick Modules 5.0 release. We recommended that clients put in place plans to move to Quick Modules 5.0. The new Quick Modules 5.0 release pro-vides many new and updated features, expanded security and encryption options, ex-panded workflow features, transaction processing and the ability for our clients to set up and modify using Quick Modules Studio. All Quick Modules 3.0 clients are provided the Quick Modules 5.0 software at no costs. Only services for implementation are required.

As an alternative to an on premise solution, Fairfax Imaging can host your environment to eliminate internal costs for implementation. As a technically advanced data capture solu-tion, the Quick Modules 5.0 system allows Fairfax Imaging the opportunity to host client infrastructure needed to operate the entire solution. Fairfax Imaging’s cloud-based ser-vices provide a highly scalable solution with high availability, reliability, and the flexibility to enable customers to mi¬grate to the Quick Modules 5.0 environment, without the need to invest in additional infrastructure costs. The entire solution is hosted and managed by Fairfax Imaging.
