REACHING THE CONTEST SITE: From Salonta, take the road 79B to Hungarian border, cross the local railway and after driving 1 km, turn left on the secondary road, at the FAI sign.(see the attached map) DATE: 11th-17th August, 2014. RULES: The Sporting Code Sections 4a, 4b and 4c with relevant amendments for 2014. NATIONAL TEAM: each national aeroclub/federation may enter a team consisting of:

- Team manager - Team manager’s Assistant - Maximum 3 senior competitors - 2012 reigning European Champion in each F1A, F1B, F1C class, - One Time Keeper - Helpers, supporters, press representatives

ANTI DOPING If a competitor has to take, for a medical condition, any of the substances listed on the WADA Prohibited list, then he must have a Therapeutic Use Exemption from the FAI. F.A.I.JURY

ENTRY FEES: -300 EUR/senior competitor, TM, TM’s Assistant; -60 EUR/senior for each additional class -50 EUR/supporter, helper; -35 EUR/senior, banquet; PROTEST FEE: 35 EURO BOARD AND LODGING: As many teams have already booked their rooms in Salonta, the Organizer is offering the only available hotel in Oradea, “Continental Forum Hotel” of four star class. The costs are:

- Single room: 165 RON/pers/night (~37 EUR) - Double room: 150 RON/pers/night (~35 EUR)

These prices include: 1. accomodation for 1 night 2. breakfast and dinner /pers/day 3. FREE OF CHARGE transportation from Oradea to Salonta and back 4. FREE OF CHARGE access to hotel’s thermal water pool. Please send us your option for Continental Forum Hotel. After receiving all the options, we shall inform the hotel and let you know the banking details to pay directly to hotel. Lunch on the flying field: 10 EUR/pers, to be payd to Organizers.

WEATHER: during August, the weather in Oradea area is excellent for free flight; average daily temperature is 250C, moderate wind of 2-6m/s and no more than a shower weekly. PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE

- 11th August, Monday: arrival, registration, accomodation; - 12th August, Tuesday: model registration, official training, opening ceremony; - 13th August, Wednesday: F1A contest; - 14th August, Thursday: F1B contest; - 15th August, Friday, F1C contest; - 16th August Saturday: -reserve day;

-trip to thermal springs of Felix resort/Tinca; -prize awarding ceremony, closing ceremony and banquet; - 17th August, Sunday: departure OFFICIAL LANGUAGE: English and Romanian; AWARDS: The Organizer will offer FAI medals, diplomas and cups to the first 3 individuals and teams (including Team Managers) in each class. INSURANCE The Organizer will provide third party insurance cover to all participants for accidents involving injury to others or damage to property according to the host country’s legislation. Participants should provide their own health insurance to cover accidents and illness.
