Business Process Description Overview
This transaction shows GL Balance Analysis. The report displays:The opening balance The total of all transactions for each posting period, broken down into debit and credit postings
Input-Required Fields Field Value /Comments
GL account number GL account number to which documents are posted Company code Company code in which the specific GL account existsFiscal year Year in which the documents are posted.
Output - Results Comments
GL Account balance display
After executing this transaction if you receive a message that states 'no list generated' it simply means that the G/L account selected does not have any documents posted to it.

1.2 On the screen “G/L Account Balances:” enter information in the fields as specified in the table below:

G/L account The account number of the G/L account
R Use the drop down menu to select a G\L account
Company code The company code identifier of the company code that the G/L account resides in
R Use the drop down menu to select a company code
Fiscal year Fiscal year number R Enter relevant year
