Factory Sales & Service Representative !(Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma & Texas)! Why choose a Parks Flo-Lab?!Performance - The “heart” of any vascular system is its Doppler. Though almost any Doppler will work fine on healthy test subjects, it’s on difficult or severely diseased patients that Parks’ Dopplers make a real different. The high sensitivity of Parks’ Dopplers allows you to quickly locate vessels and obtain accurate waveforms at flow states far below our competitors, producing accurate high quality studies on even your most severely diseased patients. This, more than any other reason, is why more hospitals rely on Parks equipment in their vascular labs than all of our competitors combined.!

Generation 3 Software - Our current SonovaE Software is the product of over 25 years of continuous refinement, based on experience in thousands of vascular laboratories worldwide. That experience has led to advances and improvements to make our systems more flexible and powerful than ever....while still remaining simple and intuitive to operate. Windows 7 compatible, it is designed to assist you in performing studies your way, instead of locking you into doing tests our way. Whether its custom logos, headers or footers, building custom test protocols, or simply modifying test sites or acquisition sequences, the Flo-Lab allows the user to tailor the system to better meet their needs. Unmatched diagnostic performance, state-of-the-art technologies, the most powerful software available.....all brought together with one goal in mind - Better Studies in less time.!

Reliability - Parks’ reputation for performance is matched by our reputation for rugged reliability. Under the most demanding conditions, in the laboratory or going portable, Parks instruments can be depended upon to keep performing day after day, year after year. When problems do occur, our service department works to keep down time to a minimum, with problems usually resolved by the next day.!

Upgrades For Life - Where improvements to our system hardware has continued at a steady pace, the real advances... and the greatest challenges... have occurred in the realm of software and firmware. What we can do with that diagnostic information.... how its acquired, displayed, transmitted and shared. That area is constantly evolving to take advantage of more powerful computers and operating systems, and to keep pace with ever increasing demands for interconnectivity. Parks Medical maintains an ongoing software development program, and as we make improvement/enhancements for our new products, our old customers benefit as well Software and firmware updates are provided free-of-charge, as long as you own the instrument – no service contracts to buy, no license fees to pay. This is just one of the ways Parks helps assure the instrument you buy today will continue to meet your needs for many years into the future.!

Backed By Parks - Parks Medical is the oldest producer of medical ultrasound equipment in the world, inventing the directional Doppler in the 1960’s. Still wholly owned and managed by founder Loren Parks, many of the products we sold over 40 years ago are still in use today....and are still supported by the company. This is remarkable in an industry where “building in obsolescence” is the norm, and in a market that has seen numerous companies come onto the scene for a few years only to later disappear.... leaving customers without support, and products that can no longer be serviced. Year after year, Parks has remained a constant, and remains the industry leader.!!

Networking & Data Exchange

Through the power of Sonova software, the Flo-Lab providescomplete networking capabilities for any clinical environment, from the small lab to the multi-facility hospital system. The Flo-Lab can be connected into various network configurations, andSonova supports all major data standards for informationexchange.

While Sonova makes sharing data easy, it also supports criticalpatient privacy requirements by incorporating HIPAA-compli-ant protocols for accessing patient data.

Flo-Lab Workstation ConfigurationThe Flo-Lab supports workstation access for remote dataentry, reporting, or printing. Workstation access means thatanother computer connected to the Flo-Lab (either directlyor through a network) can exchange information with the sys-tem. Essentially, the Flo-Lab operates as a server, with accessto its data available both at the Flo-Lab console or the work-station.

Network InteroperabilityThe growth of information technology in clinical environmentshas greatly increased the requirements for exchanging datathroughout the organization. Diagnostic and treatment sys-tems need to share all types of clinical data with administra-tive departments, primary care doctors, specialists, and diag-nostic technicians.

Parks has designed Sonova so that the Flo-Lab merges seamless-ly into this highly integrated environment. Single or multiple Flo-Labs can be connected to a server for printing, file storage, andretrieval. Any computer on the Sonova network can be used toenter patient demographic data or access previous patient examreports. This organization-wide coordination of data streamlinesstaff workflow and improves the continuum of care.

Data StandardsDICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) isthe most common standard for hospital scans, and the capabil-ity for DICOM data exchange is an important feature for anydiagnostic instrument. Sonova can export data in the DICOMfile format for compatibility with existing patient care databas-es, meaning that vascular diagnostic data can be integratedinto your patient electronic medical records.

HL7, or Health Level Seven, is an international standard forexchanging and managing clinical patient care data. It definesprotocols for exchanging clinical data among diverse health-care information systems, allowing organizations to transferdata between disparate sources and create integrated informa-tion management systems.

With Sonova, the Flo-Lab fits perfectly into this integrated dataenvironment. Sonova’s optional HL7 and XML export capabili-ties mean that the Flo-Lab can provide reports that are readableby any other system that supports these industry standards.

Sonova can also export report data in many other formats, including the following:• PDF • BMP• JPEG • Paradox (native)• Dbase • CVS• DIF • ASCII (tab delimited)• Microsoft Excel • Text• Rich Text Format (RTF) • Microsoft Word• HTML
