DIMENSIONAL INTO THREE DIMENSIONAL, THE GOLDEN
SECTION EXISTS IN ALL DIRECTIONS. USING GOLDEN
SECTION GEOMETRIES,THE PORPORTIONS CREATE A
VISUAL ORDER ANDHARMONY IN SPACES.

ARCHIECTURAL ELEMENTS IN THIS DESIGN PROBLEM WERE AR-RANGED IN A HIERARCHICAL ORDER, WHERE THE SENSE OF MOVEMENT ROM ONE CORNER TO THE OTHER SIGNIFIED A FORM OF GRADATION.

THE MAIN JOINT OF THE KAN-GAROO IS ITS LEGS AND IS BALANCED WITH ITS THIRD
LEG, ITS TAIL. IN EXAMINE-ING THE WAYS IN WHICH THE JOINT MOVES IN THEIR LEGS,
I FOUND HOW IT WORKED TOGETHER AS A WHOLE, THE SHELTER THAT WAS REALIZED
EMBODIES THESE CHARAC-TERIST ICS OF THE KANGA-
ROO’S LEG.

THROUGH INSPIRED AR-CHITECTURE, DESIGNING A

TRANSPORTATION TRANFORM THE WAY PEOPLE INTERACT
ON A DAILY BASIS IS AP-PROACHING. THE PROJECT WAS REALIZED TO ADDRESS THE PEDESTRIANS COMING
FROM THE AMTRAK RAIL, THE STREET CAR AND OTHER
MODES OF TRANSPORTATION BY CONFIGURING A MIX-USE
PROGRAM OF COMMERCIAL, RETAIL AND RESIDENTIAL;
THEREFORE, COLLABORAT-ING IDEAS WITH TWO OTHER
PROJECTS AND REACTING TO THEM.

ST. AND ALLOW FOR A POCKET PARK ON THE RESI-
DENTIAL SIDE OF THE SITE. THE BUILDING UNIFIES ALL
THE SPACES WITH A GRAND . DOUBLED HEIGHTED ACRES ARE FEATURES THROUGHOUT
THE BUILDING IN ORDER TO LINK THEM TOGETHER JUST
AS ARCHITECTURE AND EN-GINEERING ARE LINKED.

ON BROADWAY AND GRAD-UATLLY TREATS THE PARK

THE PROGRAM IS FORMED IN A HIERARCHICAL ORDER
FROM PUBLIC TO PRIVATE PROGRAM AT THE VERY BOT-
TOM; IT LEADS YOU TO THE DWELLING, AN INTIMATE
SPACE FOR THE ARTIST. ALL PIVOTING SPACES LEAD TO A CENTRAL SPINE OF CIRCULA-
TION. FROM THESE SPACES, THERE IS OPPORTUNITY TO
VIEW THE LANDSCAPE. FROM THE SPINE, GRADIENTS OF
STRUCTURAL AND LOUVRED SYSTEMS EMERGE TO DEPICT
L IGHT IN AN AGGREGATE ORDER.
