In order to fulfill the goal of creating a authentic alpine team

competing in national and international events, F2 is acting

as the main sponsor of the „Bavaria Cup“. The official Junior

FIS event is on of the largest events in Germany, although the

participants come from everywhere in Europe. The „Bavaria

Cup“ will include four events, each event will contain two

races. Apart from the role as sponsor, F2 will be officiating

with the opportunity of board testing at each event.

Due to the fact that there will be more than 50 young athle-

tes participating, this is a great chance for F2 the clarify and

support young talents. Through this kind of sponsorship, F2

Team Manager Christan Veit was able to add two young ta-

lents to the national Team. Christian Hupfauer and Daniel

Weiss are two successful members of the German National

Team, each riding their custom made F2 Proto boards.

Damals, als die weltbekannten Pioniere das Snowboarden revolutionierten, stand für sie das so genannte „Surffeelling on Snow“ im Vordergrund. nal Snowboards. Back when the famous pioneers revolutio-

nized the Snowboarding, they set their focus on the so-called

„Surffeeling on Snow“. With the Twistboard, we succeeded to

bring this intense Surffeeling on the slopes. Simple rotation

behavior – easy passage – Twistboarding will be the new trend

of sports equipment. The differences are clear, the new deve-

loped Twistboard has two flexible decks, which can be rotated

in opposite directions. Compared to a „normal“ board, it‘s

much easier to steer the snowboard just through skillfully

shifting the focus. This leads to the intensive Surffeeling on

the slopes. Furthermore, the Twistboard scores through its

patented spring-loaded hinge, which connects the two decks.

The Twistboard is the perfect combination of similar types

of sports. Each deck is specially shaped, so there is no risk of

Die Montage der beiden Decks ist simpel. Durch eine einfache Steckverbindung werden beide Decks gekoppelt und durch eine Schraubverbindung fixiert.

Das Twistboard ist so multifunktionell gebaut, dass es in jedem Terrain die beste Wahl bleibt. Das Gelenk kann durch das Ein-setzen eines kleinen, einfach zu bedienenden Stellbolzens un-beweglich und somit feststehend gemacht werden. So wird das Twistboard mit seinen Eigenschaften in Sekundenschnelle zum perfekt funktionierenden Snowboard umgebaut.

Die Teile des Gelenks sind gewichtsoptimierte, CNC bearbeitete Aluminiumdruckgussteile mit schlagfester, pulverbeschichteter Oberfläche. Das Gelenkrohr ist aus einem CNC bearbeiteten Aluminium-Stangenpressprofil. Als Korrosionsschutz dient eine harteloxierte Oberfläche.
