Vietnam is now firmly on the world stage, but it was only since

the early 1990’s that travellers started arriving. Today visitors

beauty of Vietnam. Brilliant green rice fields, bustling city

streets, grand colonial buildings, colourful markets, temples and

pagodas, deserted sandy beaches, glorious mountain scenery,

colourful ethnic minorities, delicious cuisine, luxurious hotels

and resorts, THIS IS VIETNAM TODAY.

The country is divided into three distinct regions, the south, the

centre and the north. The northern capital Hanoi, is the seat of

government and home of the revered Ho Chi Minh. This is the

artistic and cultural heart of the country, with Hoan Kiem lake

Day 1: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL (-/-/-)

Welcome to Vietnam! Asia Destinations’ guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your hotel

by private car. Hotel check in and free time to relax or discover the city in the evening on your own.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR (B/-/-)

Depart your hotel and begin your full day sightseeing tour of Sai Gon at the bustling China town. Visit Thien Hau

Temple and Binh Tay Market, followed by a visit to Giac Lam Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants

Museum and the former Presidential Palace. Finish the day with a stroll around the city’s colonial architecture,

including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental

Hotel, Opera House, City Hall and Ben Thanh Market. Transfer back to hotel.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 3: CU CHI – TAY NINH TEMPLE (B/L/-)

Pick up at hotel and begin your full day sightseeing tour with a morning drive through the typical southern

Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province in the Northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Visit Cao Dai Great Temple, the

Cathedral of the Cao Dai religion and the main attraction in Tay Ninh.

After lunch in a local restaurant, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of tunnels

constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the struggle for independence.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4: HO CHI MINH CITY – VINH LONG WITH MEKONG QUEEN CRUISE (B/L/D)

You will get picked up and transfered to Cai Be by car. Arrive and board the Mekong Queen to visit Cai Be floating

market. Visit a local factory and learn how to pop rice. See how rice paper and coconut candies are made. You can

also taste these products, served with hot green tea. Visit an old Mandarin house, built hundred years ago. A

Vietnamese lunch will be served by the owner.

An optional one hour cycling tour to local family home to visit his famous Bonsai garden.

Overnight in homestay in Mekong.

Day 5: VINH LONG – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/-/-)

After breakfast, start walking on a small trail along the river to see the daily life of the locals, and visit the village

market which is held early in the morning for the busy farmers to buy things for the day. Excursion to a handicraft

village to visit a ceramic tile factory, a tofu and fish sauce factory, a blacksmith’s, a roof Thatcher’s and a rice

husking factory which are all run by the local families.

The excursion will end at the Vinh Long pier around 12:00 noon. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

Free day at leisure until you get picked up to the airport for your departure.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

Booking will be confirmed on receipt of advance deposit only.

Asia Destinations (ASD) requires 20% advance deposit to hold the booking.

(2) Balance 80% must reach ASD 30 days prior to tour departure date.

LIABILITY

The prices are subject to amendment should the Transporters/ Hoteliers amend their rates prior to

commencement of the tour.

REFUND

After commencement of Travel, no refund in full or in part will be given for services included in the program,

which are not utilized.

HOTEL CHECK IN- CHECK OUT TIME

Hotel Check in time is usually 12h00. Hotel Check out time is usually 14h00.

Extended check in - check out time may be granted subject to availability and agreement with the participating

hotels.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

To travel around ASD highly recommended that participants have travel insurance.
