Our student popula�on is made up of a mix of both young and mature adults - all with a diverse range of life experiencebehind them. Our highly qualified, dedicated and suppor�ve staff take a holis�c view of every student, such that eachstudent is given the best possible opportunity to reach his/her full poten�al. It is a very friendly and welcomingenvironment and there is a great rela�onship built up over the course of the year between students and college staff.

This makes for a posi�ve approach to learning. Everyone has a voice in Castlebar College of Further Educa�on and thestudents elect a Students’ Union annually which gives the student popula�on a chance to get involved in a leadershiprole and discuss student issues of the day. They o�en organise fundraising ac�vi�es or social ac�vi�es for studentsthroughout the year.
