Bacterial and Viral Culture Collection

APHA Scientific offers a wide range of bacterial and viralisolates to support your studies and research. The collection contains a large number of current fieldstrains from a wide geographicalarea within the UK including over29,000 recent and historicisolates of animal pathogens.Many of these isolates alreadyhave established sensitivityprofiles, so we can selectively testorganisms with knowncharacteristics. We also offer an anti-microbialsusceptibility service using severalminimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) assays, performed under ISO 17025. Up to dateprofiles for a wide range of currently marketed orresearch antimicrobials are available and are suitable forproduct registrations or marketing.
