Conclusion

• Experimental technology artists create cross-disciplinary teams to realise their projects

• Their work requires substantial practice lead research and development time

• The art they create is iterative and changes with each new presentation and redevelopment

• There is often a high degree of interactivity and co-creation of the work

• The work is generally cross-artform, interdisciplinary and not easily defined as art

• Developing the work requires strong science, technology and creative industry partnerships

• There are mutual benefits to both the arts and non-arts partners
