What is Hofstede’s Cultural Dimension?

Power Distance Index (PDI): the extent to which the less powerful members of organizations and institutions (like the family) accept and expect that power is distributed unequally

Individualism (IDV): Individually oriented societies everyone is expected to look after him/herself and his/her immediate family Masculinity (MAS): the distribution of roles between the genders

Uncertainty Avoidance Index (UAI): a society's tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity

Long-Term Orientation (LTO): Examination of an orientation toward a broader scope aimed at a sweep of history requiring thrift and perseverance to succeed
