• The Switcheroo is purpose built to detect primary pump flow loss and automatically activate a secondary pump.

• The Switcheroo is a simple way to use virtually any chemical flow monitor or verification device to bring automatic switchover capability to any two pump application.

• It works with any reed switch device and all the popular devices available today. In addition it can accept a 4-20mA input from volumetric measuring devices such as oval or magnetic gear meters.

Easy Set Up

The set up of the Switcheroo is simple and safe.

1.Plug the pumps directly into the Switcheroo. The Switcheroo is supplied with pigtails to maximize the ease of set up and eliminate any hassle when you need to change pumps. (Pumps can be hardwired if desired)

2.Wire the monitoring device to the Switcheroo. This simply requires terminating the device wiring to specified locations as instructed in the manual.

3.Plug the Switcheroo power cord in and you are ready to go.

Operational Overview

Operating the Switcheroo is simple and intuitive.

1.To begin treatment, simply push the Pump 1 On /Off touchpad on the front of the panel. This powers up the primary pump and feeds chemical at the pre-programmed rate.

2.If everything is working properly the primary pump (1) will remain on and there should be no alarms. If for some reason the primary pump fails to maintain feed for one minute, the Switcheroo will be notified by the flow monitor that there has been a loss of flow detected.

3.Upon this notification, the Switcheroo will initiate the automatic switch over to the secondary pump (2) and activate an alarm output.

4.Once the alarm condition is rectified, simply turn pump 2 off (Push Touchpad #2) and return to normal service by turning pump 1 on again. (Push Touchpad #1)
