Coopers Fire has been supplying fire and smoke curtains to the Australian market since 1995. Operating through a distributor from 1995 – 2006 Coopers have supplied fire and smoke curtain solutions to more than 100 projects to all states of Australia. In late 2006 Coopers Fire decided that the Australian market needed a greater level of support for our niche product range and as such we registered and subsequently started to trade our Australian subsidiary Company. As a manufacturer supported subsidiary business, Coopers Fire has more control over the delivery of the fire or smoke curtain product solution than a normal distributor. We are able to provide local manufacture support and have the financial backing of our parent to take on large value contracts. Since 2007 we have progressively increased the amount of local supply, firstly with local metal work manufacture and assembly. This has significantly reduced our delivery time to site from 12 weeks to 4 weeks for most projects. We continue to expand our manufacture and warehousing capacity.

Pertronic Industries Ltd was established in 1982. In 1986 Pertronic developed its first automatic fire panel, the reliable and very successful Pertronic F30. In 1991 a multi-million dollar contract provided the momentum for product development and growth that has placed Pertronic Industries at the forefront of design, quality and volume of sales within New Zealand. In 1999 Pertronic Industries opened its first Australian office, based in Melbourne, to coincide with the release of the F100A Analogue Addressable System and associated peripherals. The F100A system was one of the first approved systems to comply with the Australian Standard; AS4428.1. Market expansion continued in Australia with offices established in Sydney (2001), Brisbane (2004) and Adelaide (2009). In 2006 Pertronic Industries entered China with a range of product designed specifically for that market, and opened a sales office in Shanghai. In 2010 a sales office was opened in Thailand. Pertronic branches pride themselves on being able to supply control equipment from stock in many cases, and within a few days for customised equipment. The release of the highly intelligent F120A analogue fire indicator panel (2001) and other high end performance products, with features such as networking capability, fire graphics, and specialty interfacing has seen Pertronic Industries equipment successfully installed in many of the most significant profile sites in all areas of market coverage. All Pertronic design, development and manufacturing is carried out at its factory in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. In 2004, Pertronic became a Quality Assurance Company by gaining ISO9001:2000 accreditation.

Rhino’s corrugated polyethylene lined tanks range from 26,000 Litres to 2.3 Megalitres and are available in Zincalume® or Colorbond®. Rhino Water Tanks provide a number of alternatives to suit your Fire Protection needs whether it be simply adding an extra fire coupling on one of your outlets on a standard tank, a designated water tank for emergency fire fighting, or a commercial fire tank with industry standard fittings specifically for static water storage to operate fire sprinkler systems or commercial fire pumps and hydrant systems. Rhino has also developed a Fire Protection Tank called Rhino Safeguard for water storage in high fire prone areas. Unique to Rhino Water Tanks, the Rhino Safeguard Series has been developed in response to the growing need to ensure your water tank has the best chance of surviving a bushfire. This new 3-stage dual skin insulated protection system has a 130mm air gap between the existing tank wall and the outer shell and the outlets are plumbed underground to prevent damage during a fire front. Additional features include a Galvanised Valve Access Box to enclose the valves, a galvanised riser with a fire fighting coupling attached and a roof mounted sprinkler system that is internally plumbed and matched to the diameter of the tank roof. TBA Textiles have been manufacturing for over 140 years. We are now proactively pushing our ‘ user friendly’ brand of passive fire stopping products in to the Australian market by selling direct to industry. We no longer use distributors which has allowed us to progress with a fully comprehensive fire testing program to the latest AS standards. We sell high quality, tested products at very competitive prices. Our INTUBATT 1 system achieves a full FRL -/120/120 where services pass through fire walls (insulated pipes, cable trays, standard configuration of Australian cables, all tested to AS1530.4-2005 and assessed in accordance with AS4072.1-2005). Please view our website, for bushfire fire protection, general fire stopping products, fire-rated seismic joints, flexible smoke and fire compartment barriers, marine fire protection and more. Most of our test results and assessments are on the website as we are proud of them. If you are signing off on products that your current supplier refuses to provide actual test data for, then maybe it is time to ask why and change to a supplier that does. Promotional material can be very misleading so the test or assessment data is required to prove that the products do cover you for the applications you intend to use them for.
