Dear all,

1. The peak is as per the BOM data marked * that is RL28.60 Monday 5.3.12 at midday ( our scada for internal readings was inoperable to confirm

this BOM accuracy );

2. I have briefed the LDMG chaired by the FCRC Mayor about the gates current status and that was again last week in terms of how they open

automatically ( and gate 5 isnt operating) and close back up under differing flood load events

The EAP (from event F3 on)has several sections on the FCRC/LDMG being responsible for downstream risk including evacuations as required.

WBWC provides data on inflows/outflows to feed into that assessment if required;

3. We didnt open any gates manually, 4 gates opened automatically during the evening ;

4. Automatic operating would have commenced at RL 26.15 about 22.50 on the 4.3.12 i.e. just before midnight Sunday.

Please see the incomplete plot below which seems to have stopped collecting levels at around 6am this morning . The levels peaked well above this some

time later in morning why is this information not reflected.

Please see the final flood warning level of 28.45 and falling issued below at 5.35 pm We both know that the peak occurred earlier in the afternoon and

was falling prior to 5.35 pm We both know the peak went higher than 27.97.

Please advise;

1. at what time did the peak occur and what is the recorded level?

2. With the gates in operable what steps were taken regarding down stream risk ? ( The emergency action plan is silent on these points)

3. Did the gates lower instantaneously or did WBW lower them?

3.1 at what time did this occur?
