2. Sit upright on the bed or in a chair 3. Take a deep breath in through your nose, while raising your arms 4. Keeping your arms raised, hold the breath for 3 seconds 5. Slowly breathe out through your mouth, while lowering your arms 6. Repeat 10 times Do this exercise every 2 hours when you are awake 7. Ankle Pumps 8. Keep both knees straight Point your toes up towards the ceiling 9. Then point your toes down, away from your knees 10. Repeat 10 to 20 times Do this exercise every hour when you are awake 11. Bridging 12. Lie on your back. Relax your arms by your side Bend your non-operated leg. Bend your operated leg as much as you can. Place both feet flat on the bed 13. Breathe in slowly as you raise your buttocks off the bed 14. At the highest point, pause and hold for 5 seconds Breathe normally 15. Slowly lower your buttocks down onto the bed while breathing out at the same time. 16. Repeat 10 times Do this exercise 3 times per day
