Nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California are tackling issues ranging from homelessness to education, health care to historic preservation. And whatever the arena of social impact, these groups do the heavy lifting in our community—bridging gaps, working miracles and lending a hand to people in need.

For over 25 years, Executive Service Corps Consultants, Staff and Board members have been a significant source of support to nonprofits, helping them to become more effective in their good work, and by these efforts strengthening the social fabric of communities in Southern California.

Our Silver Anniversary year has produced some significant accomplishments—• Record number of agencies served, representing more than a 15% increase over the previous year• Major expansion of consultant recruitment to add breadth and depth to our consultant cadre• Increase in quality and quantity of consultant training sessions • Enhancement of ESC’s website to expand resources available to ESC consultants and nonprofit agency clients alike• Completion of inaugural Wells Fargo Executive Directors Leadership Institute—a comprehensive year-long

program building cutting edge leadership for fifteen experienced nonprofit executives• Launching a Silver Anniversary Campaign to support ESC’s “Vision for Nonprofit Excellence”

In accordance with our strategic plan, we re-dedicate ourselves to serving nonprofit managers and Boards in four fundamental areas:• Leadership Development• Board Development• Fund Development• Operational Development

Nonprofit agencies impact us on many levels—through our personal experience as clients, as donors, as nonprofit agency staff, Board members or service volunteers. We have come to depend on these organizations that are a vital part of our daily lives. Executive Service Corps helps these good organizations to become great, and helps bind them together into a stronger network of community support.

With thanks for joining with us in this noble cause~

“Pacific Asian Counseling Services was fortunate to have the wonderful support of Margaret Black, John Abel and David Blenko from the Executive Service Corps. With their expert guidance, the Board and staff rewrote our mission statement. It was a terrific partnership with tangible results. During that year, they facilitated a productive board retreat that reviewed and revised the strategic planning goals. Most importantly, we were able to double our Board size from 5 to 10. The Board and I will remember with great affection our interactions under their gentle, but persistent direction. Each month, they made us accountable. It was good to have fresh eyes combined with the advantage of years of experience. It was one of PACS’ best investments.”
