Arsen works in the Spengler Fox Moscow office as Senior Consultant in charge of
Mining/Industry. He has over 25 years’ experience heading various minerals exploration and
leading edge R&D projects holding a number of leading roles with international groups such as
Director for Geology with Financial Holdings Ltd, Business Development Director Applied
Science & Technology, and most recently as Director General BHP Billiton – Norilsk Nickel
Alliance, and General Manager Russia at Stewart Holdings Group. Implementation of all the
roles involved extensive HR, recruitment and executive search activity be it selecting top
ranking scientists, leading technology engineers, senior exploration and mining staff, or
managing on a daily basis of international teams located both in various regions of Russia, and
across the globe to perform the challenging innovative tasks. This vast hands-on experience
has made Arsen instrumental in HR expertise for all the projects he headed in Russia, Ukraine,
Holland, the UK, Czech Republic, Mexico, USA, Canada, China, and Peru. Since joining
SpenglerFox in March 2011 he successfully placed many dozens of candidates for Industrial and
Manufacturing companies in Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries of EMEA region.
Arsen graduated from the Russian People’s Friendship University with Masters degrees in
Geology/Mining, and Russian/English/French translations, and also has a Ph.D. in Geology.
