Our growing industry links span a wide range of sectors of the industry that reflect the ethos of our courses and the Graduate School as a whole. From industry projects through to guest lectures and workshops, we see our industrial contacts as key to the relevance of our courses and the student experience. As well as giving students the opportunity to make valuable contacts and to network, these allow students to locate and understand their work in both professional and academic contexts.

“Fashion is a trillion dollar global business - as big or bigger than music or movies or publishing. Fashion companies face sophisticated business issues which include mergers and acquisitions, global compliance, employment laws which vary from country to country, intellectual property including counterfeiting, real estate, licensing and trade laws - the complex nature of getting goods from one country to another. Fashion professionals must have a basic understanding of these issues to compete in a challenging industry.”
